Completion of Evaluation Cycle. 1 The summative evaluation of a teacher shall be based upon student growth measures resulting from assessments that were administered in the previous school year (unless data is available sooner) and performance that is assessed during the walkthroughs and formal observations that are conducted for the current school year. The evaluation shall acknowledge the performance strengths of the teacher evaluated as well as performance deficiencies. The teacher's signature should not be construed as evidence that the teacher agrees with the contents of the evaluation report. The evaluation report shall be completed by May 10, signed by both parties, and sent to the superintendent.
