Conditions for Membership. Membership in PowerAmerica is contingent upon payment of the annual membership fee by MEMBER. Membership in PowerAmerica is further conditioned upon the acceptance by MEMBER of the obligations and rights set forth in the Bylaws. If a Member receives United States Department of EnergyDOE funding for an Institute Initiated Project, as defined in the Bylaws, the Member agrees to remain a Member at or above the Affiliate Member level until project completion. This provision does not apply to Small Business or Academic Members receiving DOE funding for an Institute Initiated Project. Small Business and Academic Members may maintain their membership category status through the term of the project.
