CONDUCT OF CONTRACTOR EMPLOYEES. The contractor shall be responsible for maintaining satisfactory standards of employee competency, conduct, and integrity and shall be responsible for taking such disciplinary action with respect to its employees as may be necessary to ensure satisfactory contract performance. The Contracting Officer may require the Contractor to remove from the job site any employee for reasons of misconduct, security, or suspected or found to be under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or other incapacitating agent(s). In the event the contractor fails to remove any employee from the contract work whom the Contracting Officer or the Contracting Officer's designated representative deems incompetent, careless, insubordinate, unfit, objectionable or whose continued employment on the work is deemed by the Government to be detrimental to the Government's mission, the Contracting Officer or the Contracting Officer's designated representative may require, in writing, the contractor to remove the employee from work under this contract and any other contract awarded to contractor by WHS. The contractor must then remove the employee from the site and from all work under the contract or task order.
