Common use of Consideration for Step Increases Clause in Contracts

Consideration for Step Increases. An employee may be considered for a salary step increase in accordance with the time interval established in the salary plan as referenced in Exhibit "A". Unless otherwise noted, salary step increases within established salary ranges are scheduled at yearly intervals. Advancement to a higher salary step within an established salary range is granted for continued improvements and efficient and effective work by the employee in the performance of his/her duties.
