Considering existing procedures, when temporary upgrading of a bargaining unit employee to a management position is required, the applicable seniority list of qualified personnel will be utilized to obtain a volunteer. If there is no acceptance, the junior qualified person will be drafted for a period not to exceed 3 weeks, unless otherwise mutually agreed upon by the appropriate parties. At the end of the three-week period, the process and draft as stated in this Paragraph shall be repeated as often as necessary for the duration of the temporary upgrading. Individuals not qualified will be so informed and required to correct their deficiencies prior to being temporarily upgraded to a management position.
