Construction and/or Maintenance of Natural Gas Distribution System a) Municipal Approval Before undertaking any Major Work, or in any case in which the Municipality specifically requests any Major Work, the Company will submit to and obtain the written approval from the Municipality, or its authorized officers, of the Plans and Specifications for the proposed Major Work and its location. Approval by the Municipality granted in accordance with this paragraph will be limited to an approval of the location and alignment of the Major Work only, and will not signify approval of the structural design or the ability of the work to perform the function for which it was intended. Prior to commencing the Work, the Company will obtain such other applicable permits as are required by the Municipality. The Company will notify the Municipality of all Work done within the Municipal Service Area prior to commencing the Work where reasonably practicable. However, only Major Work is subject to a formal approval process. The Company will obtain prior written approval from the Municipality for any traffic lane or sidewalk closures required to be made at least forty-eight (48) hours prior to the commencement of the proposed Work. For the purposes of obtaining the approval of the Municipality for Major Work under this Agreement, the Company will provide the Municipality with the Plans and Specifications for the proposed Major Work in Electronic Format (or upon request, the Company will provide the Municipality with a hard copy of the materials). The Plans and Specifications will include a description of the project and drawings of a type and format generally used by the Company for obtaining approvals from municipalities and will illustrate the proposed changes to the Natural Gas Distribution System.

  • Maintenance of Facilities 5.1 The Network Customer shall maintain its facilities necessary to reliably receive capacity and energy from the Host Transmission Owner’s transmission system consistent with Good Utility Practice. The Transmission Provider or Host Transmission Owner, as appropriate, may curtail service under this Operating Agreement to limit or prevent damage to generating or transmission facilities caused by the Network Customer’s failure to maintain its facilities in accordance with Good Utility Practice, and the Transmission Provider or Host Transmission Owner may seek as a result any appropriate relief from the Commission.

  • Construction and Maintenance There are on-going maintenance, renovation and construction projects taking place in and around the residences. The work typically takes place during regular business hours, but may begin earlier or extend into evenings or weekends. On-going construction or renovation projects will continue through midterm and final exam periods. The University will take measures to ensure that prudent construction practices are followed, but there may be noise, dust and temporary interruption of some services. Residents may be required to temporarily or permanently relocate to facilitate construction or renovation to their residence area. There will be no compensation or reduction to your residence fees due to disruption and/or relocation.

  • Interconnection Facilities Engineering Procurement and Construction Interconnection Facilities, Network Upgrades, and Distribution Upgrades shall be studied, designed, and constructed pursuant to Good Utility Practice. Such studies, design and construction shall be based on the assumed accuracy and completeness of all technical information received by the Participating TO and the CAISO from the Interconnection Customer associated with interconnecting the Large Generating Facility.
