Consultative Notice Sample Clauses

Consultative Notice. The employer will forward written consultative notice of impending redundancies to the Trades Unions whose members are affected, normally to their local offices. Where circumstances prevent formal consultation being initiated within the required time limits, consultative notice will be given as soon as the information becomes available to the employer. The format of the notice shall include a list of the number of employees by categories to be affected by the redundancy and the method of selection. This list shall also be made available to the shop xxxxxxx on site to enable consultation to take place. Applications for voluntary redundancy may be submitted during the consultation period. The decision as to whether to accept such volunteers is entirely the responsibility of the employer.
