Common use of Contagious Diseases Clause in Contracts

Contagious Diseases. Absence due to illness resulting from contact with children at school, if the contagious contact can be traced, will be paid for without deduction from sick leave days in cases of diseases such as mumps, measles, scarlet fever, whooping cough, chicken pox, hepatitis, pediculosis and conjunctivitis; but not for diseases such as influenza, colds, coughs or any other disease.
