Continuation of Benefits While on Leave of Absence. This section pertains only to the terms and conditions that allow medical, dental, and vision benefits to continue while on a leave of absence. It is separate from the leave application and approval process. Employees who are enrolled in benefits and who have worked for the City at least one year are eligible for continued medical, dental, and vision insurance in the following circumstances: Pursuant to HRPPM 10.25, during an approved leave of absence, excluding unpaid personal leaves or military leaves greater than 31 days, coverage for medical, dental, and vision coverages will continue in any of the following circumstances:
