Continuous and Uninterrupted Operations. Both parties recognize the desirability of continuous and uninterrupted operation of the instructional program during the normal school year and the avoidance of disputes which threaten to interfere with such operations. During the term of this Agreement, neither the Association nor any persons acting in its behalf will cause, authorize, or support, nor will any of its members take part in, any strike (i.e., the concerted failure to report for duty or willful absence of a bargaining unit member from their position or stoppage of work or abstinence, in whole or in part, from the full, faithful, and proper performance of the member's duties of employment) for any purpose whatsoever, and the Employer shall not lock out any members of the bargaining unit for any reason.
