Contract Employee. A contract employee is defined as an employee who is hired by the Employer for a specific period of time that is not expected to exceed three (3) months or an employee who is hired by the Employer to fill a temporary vacancy or temporary position that is expected to exceed three (3) months when the temporary vacancy or the temporary position is not filled following a job posting in accordance with Article 12.
