Contractors/Subcontractors Insurance. When applicable, Artist shall require that each and every one of its contractors and subcontractors who perform work carry, in full force and effect, workers’ compensation, commercial general liability, including fire damage, pollution liability and automobile liability insurance coverages of the type, with the restrictions and in the amounts which Artist is required to obtain under the terms of this Agreement. The Artist shall include all contractors and subcontractors as insureds under the policies or shall furnish separate certificates and endorsements for each contractor and subcontractor.
Contractors/Subcontractors Insurance. Manager shall require any and all contractors and/or subcontractors entering upon the Property to perform services to have, at the contractor's or subcontractor's expense, and in a form acceptable to the Owner, the following minimum insurance coverage: (a) Worker's Compensation - Statutory Coverage as required by the applicable State law; (b) Employer's liability insurance with limits of $500,000 each accident/ $500,000 policy limit - disease/$500,000 each employee - disease; (c) Commercial general liability insurance with limits of Three Million Dollars ($3,000,000) each occurrence and annual aggregate, combined single limit for bodily injury, property damage, with an endorsement naming the Manager and Owner as additional insureds; and (d) Comprehensive auto liability insurance with limits of One Million Dollars ($1,000,000) each occurrence, combined single limit for bodily injury and property damage to include owned, non-owned and hired automobiles. Such insurance shall be endorsed to include the Manager and Owner as additional insured; and (e) Commercial umbrella excess liability with limits of Five Million Dollars ($5,000,000) each occurrence and aggregate. If the value of a contractor's or subcontractor's contract is in excess of Five Million Dollars ($5,000,000), Manager shall consult with Owner prior to the execution of such contract. Owner shall determine the appropriate amount of insurance required in connection therewith and shall inform Manager of such insurance requirements. Manager shall obtain Owner's written permission before waiving any of the above requirements. Prior to the commencement of any work by a contractor or subcontractor, Manager shall obtain and keep on file certificates evidencing that the insurance required by this section has been obtained. All policies of insurance required herein shall be endorsed to provide thirty (30) days' prior written notice to the Manager and Owner in the event of cancellation or reduction in coverage.
Contractors/Subcontractors Insurance. The Developer shall cause each and every Contractor and Subcontractor to provide insurance coverage that complies with all applicable requirements of the Developer-provided insurance as set forth herein, except the Developer shall have sole responsibility for determining the limits of coverage required to be obtained by Contractors and Subcontractors. The Developer shall ensure that the District is an additional insured on each and every Contractor’s and Subcontractor’s Commercial General liability insurance policy using an endorsement as least as broad as ISO CG 20 10 10 01 for ongoing operations and CG 20 37 10 01 for completed operations.

  • Subcontractors’ Insurance If a part of the Agreement is to be sublet, the Consulting Engineer/Architect shall either: a. Cover all subcontractors in its insurance policies, or b. Require each subcontractor not so covered to secure insurance which will protect subcontractor against all applicable hazards or risks of loss as and in the minimum amounts designated. Whichever option is chosen, Consulting Engineer/Architect shall indemnify and hold harmless the City as to any and all damages, claims or losses, including attorney's fees, arising out of the acts or omissions of its subcontractors.

  • Vendor’s Subcontractors TIPS recognizes that many vendors operate in the open market through the use of subcontractors. For that reason, TIPS permits Vendor to utilize subcontractors as authorized and permitted by the TIPS Member Customer. However, all purchase documents must include: (1) Vendor’s Name, as known to TIPS, and; (2) Vendor’s TIPS Contract Name and Number under which it is making the TIPS Sale. Vendor must report the sale pursuant to the terms herein and Vendor agrees that it is legally responsible for all reporting and fee payment as described herein for TIPS Sales even when subcontractors are utilized. The TIPS Administration Fee is assessed on the amount paid by the TIPS Member to Vendor. The Parties intend that Vendor shall be responsible and for actions of subcontractors during a TIPS Sale. Vendor agrees that it is voluntarily authorizing subcontractors and in doing so, Xxxxxx agrees that it is doing so at its own risk and agrees to protect, indemnify, and hold TIPS harmless in accordance with Sections 14-17 above related to subcontractor TIPS Sales made pursuant to this Agreement or purporting to be made pursuant to this Agreement that may be asserted against Vendor whether rightfully brought or otherwise. The Parties further agree that it is no defense to Vendor’s breach of this Agreement that a subcontractor caused Vendor of breach this Agreement.

  • Subcontractor Insurance In accord with Good Utility Practice, each Interconnected Entity shall require each of its subcontractors to maintain and provide evidence of insurance coverage of types, and in amounts, commensurate with the risks associated with the services provided by the subcontractor. Bonding of contractors or subcontractors shall be at the hiring Interconnected Entity’s discretion, but regardless of bonding, the hiring principal shall be responsible for the performance or non- performance of any contractor or subcontractor it hires.

  • Contractors and Subcontractors Drug-Free Workplace Act of 1988 1) Publish and give a policy statement to all covered employees informing them that the unlawful manufacture, distribution, dispensation, possession or use of a controlled substance is prohibited in the covered workplace and specifying the actions that will be taken against employees who violate the policy. 2) Establish a drug-free awareness program to make employees aware of a) the dangers of drug abuse in the workplace; b) the policy of maintaining a drug-free workplace; c) any available drug counseling, rehabilitation, and employee assistance programs; and d) the penalties that may be imposed upon employees for drug abuse violations. 3) Notify employees that as a condition of employment on a federal contract or grant, the employee must a) abide by the terms of the policy statement; and b) notify the employer, within five (5) calendar days, if he or she is convicted of a criminal drug violation in the workplace. 4) Notify the contracting or granting agency within ten (10) days after receiving notice that a covered employee has been convicted of a criminal drug violation in the workplace. 5) Impose a penalty on or require satisfactory participation in a drug abuse assistance or rehabilitation program by any employee who is convicted of a reportable workplace drug conviction. 6) Make an ongoing, good faith effort to maintain a drug-free workplace by meeting the requirements of the act.

  • Contracts with Subcontractors a. Grantee may enter into contracts with subcontractors unless restricted or otherwise prohibited in the Contract. b. Grantees are prohibited from subcontracting with for-profit organizations under this Contract. c. Prior to entering into a subcontract agreement equaling or exceeding $100,000, Grantee will obtain written approval from the System Agency. d. Grantee will obtain written approval from System Agency before modifying any subcontract agreement to cause the agreement to exceed $100,000. e. Name and address of all parties and the subcontractor’s Vendor Identification Number (VIN) or Employee Identification Number (EIN); 2. Detailed description of the services to be provided; 3. Measurable method and rate of payment and total not-to-exceed amount of the contract; 4. Clearly defined and executable termination clause; and 5. Beginning and ending dates that coincide with the dates of the Contract. j. ensure and be responsible for the performance of the subcontractor(s). k. not contract with a subcontractor, at any tier, that is debarred, suspended, or excluded from or ineligible for participation in federal assistance programs or if the subcontractor would be otherwise ineligible to abide by the terms of this Contract.

  • Contractors All LAUSD Contractors and their Representatives are expected to conduct any and all business affiliated with LAUSD in an ethical and responsible manner that fosters integrity and public confidence. A “Contractor” is any individual, organization, corporation, sole proprietorship, partnership, nonprofit, joint venture, association, or any combination thereof that is pursuing or conducting business with and/or on behalf of LAUSD, including, without limitation, consultants, suppliers, manufacturers, and any other vendors, bidders or proposers.
