Convention Days. All administrators shall be eligible to attend the PSA Convention, provided school is officially closed. Attendance at all other conventions without loss of pay may be requested by writing to the Superintendent of Schools, who will have sole discretion as to whether to grant the same. In the event that school does not officially close for the PSA Convention, then up to three (3) Association members would have the right to attend the said convention for up to two (2) days. The administrators shall be provided with $450.00 to be distributed among them in any manner that they deem fit to defray PSA Convention expenses, provided at least one (1) administrator attends the PSA Convention.

Convention Days. 6. The Board shall allow the following expenses from the amount specified in the contract for attendance at approved workshop/seminars. - Cost of substitute - Dues, registration fee - Mileage at I.R.S. or State OMB-approved rate, whichever is greater and permitted. *Note: If mileage from home to location of workshop/seminar is of a shorter distance than from school to location of workshop/seminar, then this will be the mileage allowed.
Convention Days. The school calendar normally calls for the closing of the schools for two (2) days at the time of the New Jersey Education Association Convention in the fall. Attendance at this convention on other school days without loss of pay may be requested, in advance, under the provisions of Section 4. or H.1. below.

  • ELECTION DAYS Work and travel will be arranged to allow employees the opportunity to vote on their own time on recognized state and federal election days unless they are given sufficient notice to enable time to obtain an absentee ballot.

  • Break Time For daily work assignments of six or more hours, permanent and probationary employees (except bus drivers and bus aides) shall be entitled to one 15-minute break for each half of the work assignment. For work assignments of less than six hours, such employees shall be entitled to one 15-minute break. Employees who spend a majority of the workday working with a Video Display Terminal (VDT) shall be permitted to perform other job-related duties (i.e., work not involving use of a VDT) 10 continuous minutes out of each hour. Such time shall not be cumulative and shall be in addition to break time established above.

  • Billing Period The calendar month shall be the standard period for all charges and payments under this Agreement. On or before the fifteenth (15th) day following the end of each month, Seller shall render to Buyer an invoice for the payment obligations incurred hereunder during the preceding month, based on the Energy Delivered in the preceding month, and any RECs deposited in Buyer’s GIS account or a GIS account designated by Buyer to Seller in writing in the preceding month. Such invoice shall contain supporting detail for all charges reflected on the invoice, and Seller shall provide Buyer with additional supporting documentation and information as Buyer may request.

The request must include the beginning and ending dates of the leave and must be requested no later than thirty (30) calendar days after the birth of the child. Any changes to the leave, once approved, are permissive and subject to the approval of the department head or designee.
