Conversion of Vacation to Sick Leave. In the case of illness or injury of more than two (2) days duration substantiated by a doctor’s certificate occurring while on vacation leave, the President of PEF or his/her designee shall convert vacation leave to sick leave. However any salary received for such leave shall be credited against any salary due to vacation leave subsequently taken.
