Correctional officers. Correctional officers will be furnished uniforms by the Employer. Should management decide to change the current uniform, a joint committee of management and Federation shall convene as the Uniform Committee. The committee shall make recommendations on the design and style of the uniform(s), number of pieces to be issued and replacement schedules. The final decision shall be made by the Warden or his/her designee. With the exception of search gloves initial issue uniform items will be replaced on an exchange basis as determined by management. Once every two years, each uniformed correctional officer shall be issued one pair of puncture, cut resistant search gloves.
