Counters. 18 The BBS must keep track of the following:
19 A. The number of times that the unit was in backup mode.
20 B. The accumulated number of hours and minutes that the unit has operated in backup 21 mode since the last reset.
Counters. FLXLab allows you to create user-defined variables called counters to keep track of information during the course of an experiment. For example, suppose you wanted the Lexical Decision Demo script to run until either the end of the stimulus list is reached, or the subject makes 5 errors. As with the feedback example discussed in Section 4.3.2, we have to add a fourth column to the stimulus list to hold the key associated with an error. Recall that the ’f’ key is used to indicate a non-word response, while the ’j’ key is used to indicate a word response, so ’f’ is the incorrect key for a word, and ’j’ is the incorrect key for a non-word. LabelListColumn 4 incorrect_key Now we’ll create a counter to hold the number of errors made, using the Counter command: Counter errors 0 The first argument to the command provides a name for the counter, and the second argument specifies the initial value. The value must be an integer. Next, we’ll create a command event that increases the value of the counter by one:

Counters. Events are counted by event type and the event counters are available for monitoring. Event counters may be reset. When event counters increment (during a *** sampler time) then the associated condition will be set for at least ***. When event counters doe not increment (over a *** sample time) then the associated condition is automatically unset. Events Counters include: |X| ***. |X| ***. |X| ***.
Counters. The tops of the service counters are more than 36 inches high. Provide a portion of a counter that is at least 36 inches wide and no more than 36 inches high, or provide an auxiliary counter with a maximum height of 36 inches in compliance with the Standards, or provide access to services transacted at these counters through alternate means (e.g., by offering those services at an accessible location for individuals who use wheel chairs. This may be accomplished by allowing wheel chair users to go thorough the open end of the counters to reach the accessible area behind the counters). Standards § 7.2(2).
Counters. All counters will be four-digit capacity and non-resettable providing a continuous count for customers or transactions.
