Common use of Course Leave Clause in Contracts

Course Leave. ‌ When an employer requests an employee to attend a course, the employee will be given leave with pay. When such leave is granted, the Employer shall bear the full cost of the course including tuition, entrance or registration fees, laboratory fees and course-required books or materials. If the course is held during off duty hours, the employee will be paid at straight-time rates.
