Coverage During Leave of Absence. a. Employees on authorized leave of absence under Section 36, subsection 1. for Local Union business will have their Welfare Plan continued for a period of up to one (1) year. After one (1) year the Welfare Plan may be continued for the duration of the leave of absence upon payment of the full premium by the employee.
