Common use of Crisis Team Clause in Contracts

Crisis Team. 1. The Employer recognizes that given the expertise of staff of the Agency, Employees are often called upon to provide crisis-response services. The purpose of the Crisis Team is to work in conjunction with the Assistant Superintendent for Special Education to provide consistent and direct on-site support in the event of a crisis. 2. The Team will be comprised of six (6) individuals who will be selected by the Assistant Superintendent for Special Education based on their knowledge and expertise in their field. 3. As a member of the team, the following shall be expected of the selected Employees: a. To be accessible to the Agency 24/7, year-round. b. To work alongside of, and take direction from, the Assistant Superintendent for Special Education to facilitate the coordination of members of the Crisis Team and use of Agency resources. 4. In order to acknowledge the additional time commitment, Employees will be provided with the following: a. An additional $500 stipend for which payment will be spread over twenty-six (26) pays. b. Additional training as deemed necessary. c. As crisis incidents arise, Employees may receive additional compensation based on their current per-diem rate, as determined by the Assistant Superintendent for Special Education.
