Criteria for Leaves. The granting of a Leave shall be governed by the following criteria: L8.02.03.01 To qualify for Leave, a Teacher must have three (3) or more years of service with the Rainy River District School Board or its predecessors prior to the taking of his /her leave. L8.02.03.02 The Teacher is unlikely to be declared surplus during the term of the Plan.

Criteria for Leaves. The granting of a Leave shall be governed by the following criteria: 8.02.03.01 To qualify for Leave, a Teacher must have five (5) or more years of service with the Rainy River District School Board or its predecessors prior to the taking of his /her leave. 8.02.03.02 The Teacher is unlikely to be declared surplus during the term of the Plan. 8.02.03.03 The Teacher must declare that, notwithstanding emergency circumstances, he/she intends to serve the Board to the end of the completion of the Plan. 8.02.03.04 The Leave Committee may establish other criteria in the individual circumstances. 8.02.03.05 The Teacher seeking Leave shall present, with his/her application, a statement of his/her proposed plans for Leave.

  • Application for Leave Any request for a leave of absence shall be submitted in writing by the employee to the Employer or designee. The request shall state the reason the leave of absence is being requested and the length of time off the employee desires. Authorization for a leave of absence shall be furnished to the employee by the Employer or designee, and it shall be in writing.

  • Eligibility for Leave All regular full-time employees shall be eligible for paid leave. Further, all regular part-time employees shall receive paid leave on a ration of paid leave time accrued to the number of hours worked in the work week. All non-regular part-time, temporary, and seasonal employees will not be eligible to receive paid leave.

  • Reasons for Leave Family Care and Medical Leave may be granted for reason of the birth of a child of the employee, or the placement of a child with an employee in connection with the adoption or xxxxxx care of the child by the employee. If the leave is taken for any of these reasons, the leave must be concluded within twelve (12) months of the birth, the adoption, or the xxxxxx care placement of the child. In addition, leave may be granted because of the serious health condition of a child of the employee, the employee's own serious health condition, or the care of a parent or spouse who has a serious health condition.

  • Educational Leave of Absence Leaves of absence may be granted up to six (6) months under the above provisions only if the course would be beneficial to both the University and the employee.

  • Time of Service Customer must make an appointment with Exasol to schedule Consulting Services. The appointment must be made at least four weeks before the planned service actions. Any changes to the appointment must also be communicated before the previously agreed-upon appointment. If no appointment has been agreed upon, Customer has no claim for the provision of the services. If Customer does not claim the services at the agreed-upon appointment, the claim to the agreed consulting services is forfeited. In this case, 80% of the agreed-upon Fee will be charged.

  • Authorization for Leave The Chief Superintendent or designee shall be authorized to grant leaves in accordance with the Adoptive Leave Section, with the exception that additional leave requested in accordance with Section 3.6 shall require approval of the Board.

  • Medical Leave of Absence Where you have a medical leave of absence due to any medically determinable physical or mental impairment that can be expected to result in death or can be expected to last for a continuous period of not less than six months, and you have not returned to employment with the Company or an Affiliate, a Separation from Service has occurred on the earlier of: (A) the first day on which you would not be considered “disabled” under any disability policy of the Company or Affiliate under which you are then receiving a benefit; or (B) the first day on which your medical leave of absence period exceeds 29 months.

  • Grades of Service The Parties shall initially engineer and shall monitor and augment all trunk groups consistent with the Joint Process as set forth in Section 14.1 of this Attachment.

  • General Leave of Absence a) Leave of absence without pay may be granted to employees for valid reasons as set out by Company policy. b) An employee on general leave of absence shall not accumulate sick leave credits, or earn vacation but shall retain the seniority, sick leave credits, and vacation credits earned prior to commencing leave of absence. c) Employees do not have the option of continuing their benefit coverage during the leave. d) Employees on leave of absence shall be required to apply for any extension.

  • No Discrimination for Union Activity The Employer and the Union agree that there shall be no discrimination, interference, restriction, or coercion exercised or practised with respect to any employee for reason of membership or activity in the Union.
