Cultural Fund. The Employer agrees to contribute one cent date of ratification, per hour worked per employee into the Local World Culture Fund of Toronto’s hotel workers.
Cultural Fund. The Fund may be used to encourage diversity, education and/or cultural activities that may enhance the wellbeing of workers.
Cultural Fund. On the settlement date the Crown will pay to the governance entity $300,000.00. The governance entity intends to use some or all of such amount for the development and implementation of a historic reserve management plan for the Kowhairoa Peninsula. The settlement legislation will provide for the appointment of a Joint Advisory Committee to be established over Matakaraka B1 and Part Matakaraka B2B and B3. The settlement legislation will provide that the governance entity will have regard to the views of the Joint Advisory Committee in relation to conservation matters affecting Matakaraka B1 and Part Matakaraka B2B and B3. The settlement legislation will provide that: [the Minister of Conservation] must appoint as members of the Joint Advisory Committee: two individuals from time to time nominated in writing by the Director-General of Conservation; and two individuals nominated in writing by the governance entity to the Director-General of Conservation; initial membership nominations are to be made within six months of settlement date; members may be appointed for a term of five years (and may be reappointed); [the Minister must appoint] as chairperson of the Joint Advisory Committee, for the first meeting, the person nominated in writing by the Director-General of Conservation, for the next meeting, the person nominated in writing by the governance entity to the Director-General of Conservation, and each nominated person must be a member of the Joint Advisory Committee; and the role of chair of the Joint Advisory Committee will be rotated between the nominees of the Director-General of Conservation and the governance entity, meeting by meeting.

  • FEMA Fund Certifications Submission of this proposal is Vendor’s certification that Vendor agrees to this term. Vendor certifies that IF and when Vendor accepts a TIPS purchase paid for in full or part with FEMA funds, Vendor certifies that: (1) Vendor agrees to provide the TIPS Member, the FEMA Administrator, the Comptroller General of the United States, or any of their authorized representatives access to and rights to reproduce any books, documents, papers, and records of the Contractor which are directly pertinent to this contract for the purposes of making audits, examinations, excerpts, and transcriptions. The Vendor agrees to provide the FEMA Administrator or an authorized representatives access to construction or other work sites pertaining to the work being completed under the contract. Vendor acknowledges and agrees that no language in this contract or the contract with the TIPS Member is intended to prohibit audits or internal reviews by the FEMA Administrator or the Comptroller General of the United States.

  • Investment Opportunities To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the doctrine of corporate opportunity, or any analogous doctrine, shall not apply to any Member, any of their respective Affiliates, or any of their respective officers, directors, agents, shareholders, members, managers and partners (each, a “Business Opportunities Exempt Party”). The Company renounces any interest or expectancy of the Company in, or in being offered an opportunity to participate in, business opportunities that are from time to time presented to any Business Opportunities Exempt Party. No Business Opportunities Exempt Party who acquires knowledge of a potential transaction, agreement, arrangement or other matter that may be an opportunity for the Company or any of its subsidiaries shall have any duty to communicate or offer such opportunity to the Company. No amendment or repeal of this Section 8.4 shall apply to or have any effect on the liability or alleged liability of any Business Opportunities Exempt Party for or with respect to any opportunities of which any such Business Opportunities Exempt Party becomes aware prior to such amendment or repeal. Any Person purchasing or otherwise acquiring any interest in any Units shall be deemed to have notice of and consented to the provisions of this Section 8.4. Neither the alteration, amendment or repeal of this Section 8.4, nor the adoption of any provision of this Agreement inconsistent with this Section 8.4, shall eliminate or reduce the effect of this Section 8.4 in respect of any business opportunity first identified or any other matter occurring, or any cause of action, suit or claim that, but for this Section 8.4, would accrue or arise, prior to such alteration, amendment, repeal or adoption.

  • Investment Opportunities and Allocation The Advisor shall be required to use commercially reasonable efforts to present a continuing and suitable investment program to the Company that is consistent with the investment policies and objectives of the Company, but neither the Advisor nor any Affiliate of the Advisor shall be obligated generally to present any particular investment opportunity to the Company even if the opportunity is of character that, if presented to the Company, could be taken by the Company. In the event an investment opportunity is located, the allocation procedure set forth under the caption “Conflicts of Interest – Certain Conflict Resolution Measures – Allocation of Investment Opportunities” in the Registration Statement shall govern the allocation of the opportunity among the Company and Affiliates of the Advisor.

  • Fiscal Funding Notwithstanding any other provision of this agreement, the parties hereto agree that the charges hereunder are payable to the Contractor by the District solely from appropriations received by District. In the event such appropriations are determined by the Chief Financial Officer/Comptroller of the District to no longer exist or to be insufficient with respect to the charges payable hereunder, this Agreement shall immediately terminate without further obligation to the District upon notice that such appropriations no longer exist and are insufficient.

  • HUMANITY FUND The Company agrees to deduct on a weekly basis the amount of forty (40) cents per week from the wages of all employees in the bargaining unit for all hours worked and, prior to the 15th day of the month following, to pay the amount so deducted to the "Humanity Fund" and to forward such payment to United Steelworkers National Office, 000 Xxxxxxxx Xxxxxx Xxxx, Xxxxxxx, Xxxxxxx, X0X 0X0 and to advise in writing both the Humanity Fund at the aforementioned address and the local union that such payment has been made, the amount of such payment and the names of all employees in the bargaining unit on whose behalf such payment has been made. All employee deductions are voluntary and may be cancelled upon request.

  • Name of Partnership The name of the Partnership shall be Xxxxxxx Investment Partnership, L.P. or such other name as the General Partner may from time to time designate.

  • Name of Fund The Trust may use the name “Harbor Funds” or any name derived from the name “Harbor Capital Advisors” in connection with the Fund only for so long as this Agreement or any extension, renewal or amendment hereof remains in effect, including any similar agreement with any organization which shall have succeeded to your business as investment adviser.
