Cultural Resources Awareness. As a best management practice to reduce the potential for certain types of possible indirect adverse effects on historic properties (such as increase in population or visitation in areas where historic properties are located), DoD will conduct initial orientation briefs for all incoming DoD personnel, their families, and contractors dealing with the sensitivity of the historic properties in the area. All DoD personnel and contractors working on Guam and Tinian will receive annual briefings. DOD will develop the briefing in consultation with the appropriate SHPO and will provide SHPO with a copy of the final briefing paper.

Cultural Resources Awareness. A. USAG shall continue cultural resources awareness training for all personnel involved in the execution of undertakings within the APE on an annual basis. 1. SHPO shall be notified of major cultural awareness training events and invited to participate in training led by USAG. 2. Contents of the training shall be summarized in the Annual Report.

  • Cultural Resources If a cultural resource is discovered, the Purchaser shall immediately suspend all operations in the vicinity of the cultural resource and notify the Forest Officer. Operations may only resume if authorized by the Forest Officer. Cultural resources identified and protected elsewhere in this contract are exempted from this clause. Cultural resources, once discovered or identified, are not to be disturbed by the Purchaser, or his, her or its employees and/or sub- contractors.

  • COUNTY’S QUALITY ASSURANCE PLAN The County or its agent will evaluate the Contractor’s performance under this Contract on not less than an annual basis. Such evaluation will include assessing the Contractor’s compliance with all Contract terms and conditions and performance standards. Contractor deficiencies which the County determines are severe or continuing and that may place performance of the Contract in jeopardy if not corrected will be reported to the Board of Supervisors. The report will include improvement/corrective action measures taken by the County and the Contractor. If improvement does not occur consistent with the corrective action measures, the County may terminate this Contract or impose other penalties as specified in this Contract.

  • CULTURAL DIVERSITY The Cultural Diversity Requirement generally does not add units to a student's program. Rather, it is intended to be fulfilled by choosing courses from the approved list that also satisfy requirements in other areas of the student’s program; the exception is that Cultural Diversity courses may not satisfy Culture and Language Requirements for B.S. students. For example, COMM 6 – Intercultural Communication, can fulfill (3) units of the Behavioral Science requirement and (3) units of the Cultural Diversity requirement. This double counting of a class may only be done with the Cultural Diversity requirement. Courses in Cultural Diversity may be taken at the lower- division or upper-division level.

  • Additional Resources The WLSC may establish workgroups that include other department representatives and/or subject matter experts. These subcommittees shall conform with rules established by the WLSC.

  • Cultural ceremonial leave may be taken as whole or part days off. Each day, or part thereof, shall be deducted from: a) the Employee's annual leave entitlements (where applicable); b) the Employee’s accrued long service leave entitlements, but in full days only; or c) accrued days off or time in lieu.

  • Financial Resources The Adviser has the financial resources available to it necessary for the performance of its services and obligations contemplated in the Pricing Disclosure Package, the Prospectus, and under this Agreement, the Investment Management Agreement and the Administration Agreement.

  • Stewardship The efficient and effective management of the public funds that have been entrusted to the FHWA.

  • Human and Financial Resources to Implement Safeguards Requirements The Borrower shall make available necessary budgetary and human resources to fully implement the EMP and the RP.

  • Leadership Develop strong joint leadership, shift to coaching style of leadership and share information, including financial data.

  • Professional Development and Training The Company shall pay for or reimburse the Executive for any reasonable professional development or training.
