Training Events. In addition to emergency fire suppression work, the City shall provide the Ladder Truck with two qualified employees at one two-hour training event within the District during each calendar year. The Ladder Truck and the two employees shall be available to the District for the training event at no cost.

Training Events. If a salaried employee participates in a training event under the instructions of the employer for the purpose developing professional skills, travel allowances are paid in accordance with the provisions of section 24 of the collective agreement. Allowances under the previous paragraph are also paid to a salaried employee attending a joint training event in accordance with paragraph 5.2 of the cooperation agreement, provided that the purpose of the event has been locally acknowledged to promote the professional capacity of the salaried employee . If a training event is held at a time requiring, for example, a salaried employee working on a night shift to attend the event during their time-off, the employee is entitled to compensation based on the basic salary must be paid or compensatory leave. Therefore, if participation in a training event takes place during the regular working hours of a salaried employee their salary may not be reduced. No salary is paid for the travel time related to training events referred to in this section. If participation in the above training events takes place during the salaried employee's time off, the parties note that the grounds for compensation are to be agreed locally as necessary. Training Events. The WC manager will attend and participate in all Welcome Center Manager's Meetings, Welcome Center promotional programs, and the annual Colorado Governor's Tourism Conference unless prior notice is provided and agreed upon. The WC manager will provide training to all new travel counselors. This training program and material will be provided by the CTO and includes an overview of all official state travel resources including the Official State Vacation Guide, xxx.Xxxxxxxx.xxx, and the Official State Map. The WC Manager will hold at least six meetings per year for the volunteer travel counselors, presenting CTO updates and offering opportunities to the travel industry to make presentations to the travel counselors. Twice a year, the WC Manager will host an informational study tour for travel counselors, visiting a designated travel region. The number and duration of study tours may vary at the discretion of the CWC Manager and the CWC Director.

Training Events. 1. The Company will provide ground training and flight training as outlined in the Company Training Manual. 2. A pilot who withdraws voluntarily from training or who fails to meet minimum standards on his first attempt, may return to his former status and equipment providing he still meets those qualifications and subject to successful completion of re-qualification training. Training Events. Agency represents and warrants that all attendees, participants, students, observers, instructors and any other persons brought to the STC Facilities by the Agency (“Agency Invitees”) are qualified to participate in the Training Events, and use of the STC Facilities. The City retains the discretion to terminate this Agreement and requires all Agency Invitees to immediately vacate the STC Facilities if the Training Events or anyone’s participation in the Training Events poses any kind of threat or liability to the City, the public, Agency Invitees or anyone else. Agency Invitees shall not be considered an employee or agent of City for any purpose related to the Training Events.

  • Closing Events At the Closing, each of the respective parties hereto shall execute, acknowledge and deliver (or shall cause to be executed, acknowledged, and delivered) any agreements, resolutions, rulings, or other instruments required by this Plan to be so delivered at or prior to Closing, together with such other items as may be reasonably requested by the parties hereto and their respective legal counsel in order to effectuate or evidence the transaction contemplated hereby.

  • Triggering Events The events referred to in Sections 3(f) and 5(a) hereof are as follows:

  • CONDITIONS FOR EMERGENCY/HURRICANE OR DISASTER - TERM CONTRACTS It is hereby made a part of this Invitation for Bids that before, during and after a public emergency, disaster, hurricane, flood, or other acts of God that Orange County shall require a “first priority” basis for goods and services. It is vital and imperative that the majority of citizens are protected from any emergency situation which threatens public health and safety, as determined by the County. Contractor agrees to rent/sell/lease all goods and services to the County or other governmental entities as opposed to a private citizen, on a first priority basis. The County expects to pay contractual prices for all goods or services required during an emergency situation. Contractor shall furnish a twenty-four (24) hour phone number in the event of such an emergency.

  • Education, Training and Experience Grade 12 and two years' recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

  • Accidents and Dangerous Occurrences The Hirer must report all accidents involving injury to the public to a member of the Village Hall management committee as soon as possible and complete the relevant section in the Village Hall’s accident book. Any failure of equipment belonging to the Village Hall or brought in by the Hirer must also be reported as soon as possible. Certain types of accident or injury must be reported on a special form to the local authority. The Hall Secretary will give assistance in completing this form. This is in accordance with the Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations 1995 (RIDDOR).

  • Training and Orientation (a) No employee shall be required to work on any job or operate any piece of equipment until he/she has received proper training and instruction. (b) The Employer shall provide sufficient and adequate training and/or orientation to any employee working in a new or unfamiliar work area or position.

  • Emergency Closings In the event a student day or teacher duty day is lost because of an emergency closing, the teacher shall perform duties on that day (unless hazardous conditions prohibit) or other such day in lieu thereof as the School Board or its designated representative shall determine, if any.

  • Environmental Events The Borrower will, and will cause BPI to, promptly give notice in writing to the Agent (i) upon Borrower’s or BPI’s obtaining knowledge of any material violation (as determined by the Borrower or BPI in the exercise of its reasonable discretion) of any Environmental Law regarding any Real Estate Asset or Borrower’s or BPI’s operations, (ii) upon Borrower’s or BPI’s obtaining knowledge of any known Release of any Hazardous Substance at, from, or into any Real Estate Asset which it reports in writing or is reportable by it in writing to any governmental authority and which is material in amount or nature or which could materially affect the value of such Real Estate Asset, (iii) upon Borrower’s or BPI’s receipt of any notice of material violation of any Environmental Laws or of any material Release of Hazardous Substances in violation of any Environmental Laws, including a notice or claim of liability or potential responsibility from any third party (including without limitation any federal, state or local governmental officials) and including notice of any formal inquiry, proceeding, demand, investigation or other action with regard to (A) Borrower’s or BPI’s or any other Person’s operation of any Real Estate Asset, (B) contamination on, from or into any Real Estate Asset, or (C) investigation or remediation of off-site locations at which Borrower or BPI or any of its predecessors are alleged to have directly or indirectly disposed of Hazardous Substances, or (iv) upon Borrower’s or BPI’s obtaining knowledge that any expense or loss has been incurred by such governmental authority in connection with the assessment, containment, removal or remediation of any Hazardous Substances with respect to which Borrower or BPI or any Partially-Owned Real Estate Entity may be liable or for which a lien may be imposed on any Real Estate Asset; any of which events described in clauses (i) through (iv) above would have a material adverse effect on the business, assets or financial condition of the Borrower and its Subsidiaries, taken as a whole. As of the date hereof, the Borrower has notified the Agent of the matters referenced on Schedule 8.5(b), to the extent such matters are disclosed in the Form 10-K referred to therein.

  • Events If either Party hereto is at any time either during this Agreement or thereafter prevented or delayed in complying with any provisions of this Agreement by reason of strikes, walk-outs, labour shortages, power shortages, fires, wars, acts of God, earthquakes, storms, floods, explosions, accidents, protests or demonstrations by environmental lobbyists or native rights groups, delays in transportation, breakdown of machinery, inability to obtain necessary materials in the open market, unavailability of equipment, governmental regulations restricting normal operations, shipping delays or any other reason or reasons beyond the control of that Party, then the time limited for the performance by that Party of its respective obligations hereunder shall be extended by a period of time equal in length to the period of each such prevention or delay.

  • Industrial Relations Training Leave Union Delegate/Employee Representative shall have access to industrial relations training in accordance with Appendix E hereof.
