CUPE President Leave. a) The Employer shall grant a leave of absence without pay and without loss of seniority, to one employee elected or appointed to the position of CUPE President, on a permanent full-time or part-time basis. Such leave shall be renewed every two years upon request during his/her term of office. Such request shall be submitted to the Superintendent of Human Resources a minimum of six (6) weeks prior to the date of leave.
