Union President. The Union President or one (1) designated representative except where noted below, up to two (2) designated representatives shall be granted release time from regular City duties to attend the following meetings: To attend Civil Service Commission meetings when matters affecting the Union are considered. To attend City Council meetings when matters affecting the Union are considered. To attend Federated Retirement Board meetings. To attend administrative grievance meetings when used to facilitate settling of administrative grievances. To attend Benefit Review Forum meetings (up to two
Union President. Executive Officer Leave and Article A.37 Leave for Union and other Professional Organizations.
Union President. The Employer will grant the Union President paid time of ten (10) hours per week, prorated per FTE. The President shall be compensated for up to an additional ten (10) hours per week by the Union, prorated per FTE, subject to approval by the Union’s Executive Board. This weekly allotment shall include all time spent by the President on Union activities, although it may be exceeded when attending a Union convention as a mandated or elected delegate, or on matters undertaken at the behest of the Employer. The President and their manager shall mutually develop an ongoing schedule for the purpose of assuring reliable work attendance.
Union President. The President (designated President) of the Local will be awarded sufficient time to conduct Union business, but will be awarded no less than the first four (4) hours per day. The Company agrees to provide suitable office space for the Union Local's purposes. Furnishings, clerical supplies, telephone service and photocopying will be the responsibility of the Local. It is understood that the employee serving in the capacity of Union President shall be assigned to day shift only. Should the Union intend to substitute a "designated" President for the President in the application of this Article, such intention must be made known by written request, received by the company, no later than one (1)week prior to the expected substitution in order that both parties have an opportunity to discuss such change. The substitution will be for a period of no less than one (1)week (five (5)consecutive work days). While summer students are not covered by the terms of the Collective Agreement, all students shall be subject to normal dues deductions. Summer students will be paid at the rate of twenty percent (20%) less that the job rate applicable to the job being performed between March and October in any year. If such student works thirty (30) days for the Company and is then accepted for full time employment he shall attain seniority status immediately and his seniority date shall be his latest date of employment with the Company.
Union President. The President of the Local Union, or in his/her absence the Vice President, will be recognized as an ex-of- ficio member of all committees. It is understood that the President and Vice President shall not be recognized as additional District Committeepersons but will have access to all plants of the Company’s operations covered by this Agreement.
Union President. The Employer, in the interest of maintaining and promoting positive labour relations between the Parties, shall provide paid time to the President of Local 1019 in the amount of three hundred and seventy two (372) hours yearly. This paid time shall include all normal wages, benefits and benefit premiums to or on behalf of the President of Local 1019 to allow the President of Local 1019 to represent the members of the bargaining unit. During such position the President shall continue to accrue service and seniority and is entitled to all applicable provisions within this Collective Agreement.
Union President. The Union President shall not be regularly assigned any additional duties other than regular teaching duties, except on a voluntary basis. The Union President shall be given an eighty percent (80%) teaching load, without reduction in salary and benefits, in order to conduct Union business as it pertains to contract implementation and/or contact with administrators, teachers and others concerned with the operation of the schools. The Union shall reimburse the Board fifty percent (50%) of the cost to implement this provision. The cost shall be based upon ½ of 20% (or 10%) of the average regular salary cost of the teachers in the department in which the Union President is employed who are eligible to teach the 20% teaching load which would have otherwise been assigned to the Union President. Should the Union President be a teacher from the elementary school or in a non-departmentalized teaching position, the Board and the Union shall meet to determine the manner in which such released time shall be provided and the appropriate reimbursement formula. In addition to the above release time, the Union President shall be entitled to borrow days from any unused days remaining from the eight (8) school days of Union leave per school year as provided in Article 12, Section 4. In accordance with the above paragraph, such borrowed union leave days shall be used to conduct Union business as it pertains to contract implementation and/or contact with administrators, teachers and others concerned with the operation of the schools. The Union shall reimburse the Board fifty percent (50%) of the existing substitute rate for each day used.
Union President. When practical, the Union President shall be assigned day shift. He will be given reasonable time off with pay to attend to Union business, and one (1) day off, preferably Friday will be given to the President or a Union officer for plant tours. However, when the Union President's job responsibilities are not compatible with this arrangement, a similar appropriate arrangement will be worked out between the Company and the Union President. The Company agrees to continue to supply a mutually agreeable office at no charge to the Local.

Union President. The President of Florida SouthWestern State College Faculty Federation as elected by the faculty.
