Common use of Current Annual Sick Leave Clause in Contracts

Current Annual Sick Leave. a. A total of ten (10) full working days per year with full pay shall be granted each full-time certified employee. For the purposes of this Agreement, a full working day for a full time employee equals eight (8) hours. Employees working half-time or more, but less than full-time, shall be granted ten (10) sick leave days pro-rated in direct proportion to the number of hours employed. Such current sick leave shall accrue to the employee on July 1 of each year or upon date of employment, whichever is later.
