Dangerous Weapons. A student shall not possess, transport, transmit, conceal or attempt to possess, transport, transmit, or conceal a dangerous weapon, firearm, knife, fireworks, explosive ordnance or dangerous instrument, or "look-alike" counterfeit weapon, firearm, knife, ordnance, or dangerous instrument. "Look -alike" weapons, firearms, knives, fireworks, explosive ordnance, or instruments include, but are not limited to, any object a reasonable person might consider under the circumstances a dangerous weapon, firearm, knife, fireworks, explosive ordnance or dangerous instrument. As used herein, "firearm" shall be defined as in 18 USC section 921 and shall include, but not be limited to, any weapon (including a starter gun) which will or is designed to or may readily be converted to expel a projectile by the action of an explosive or other propellant; the frame or receiver of any such weapon; any firearm muffler or firearm silencer; or any destructive device as defined in 18 USC section 921 et seq. The definition of destructive device includes, but is not limited to, (1) any explosive, incendiary, or poisonous gas including, but not limited to, a bomb, grenade, rocket having a propellant charge of more than four ounces, missile having an explosive or incendiary charge of more than one-quarter ounce, mine, or a device similar to any of the devices described herein or (2) any combination of parts either designed or intended for use in converting any device into any destructive device described herein and from which a destructive device may be readily assembled. As used herein, "knife" shall be defined as any instrument that possesses a pointed or sharp- edged blade of metal or other rigid material and that is designed or can be used for cutting, slicing, or stabbing; this definition shall include, but is not limited to, straight razors, utility knives, box cutters, ice picks, pocket knives, switchblades, and buck knives. Nothing in this provision is intended to, nor shall it, preclude the President/CEO from suspending, expelling or removing a student in accordance with Ohio law for otherwise possessing, transmitting, or concealing a weapon, explosive ordnance, or other dangerous instrument that is not as just defined herein.

Dangerous Weapons. 7.1 No firearm, ammunition or other dangerous weapons shall be brought onto the farm without the prior written permission of the owner.
Dangerous Weapons. The possession or use of dangerous weapons while a student is in attendance at Central Tech, at any function authorized by the school, or while in transit to or from Central Tech on school transportation, is expressly prohibited. Oklahoma Statues, Title 21, section 1280.1 prohibits any person, except a peace officer or other person authorized by the board of education of the district, to have in such person’s possession on any public or private school property or while in any school bus or vehicle used by any school for transportation of students or teachers any weapon as defined in Section 1272 below: “…any pistol; revolver; shotgun or rifle whether loaded or unloaded; or any blackjack; loaded cane; xxxxx club; hand chain; metal knuckles; or any other offensive weapon.” Central Tech administration will determine what constitutes a weapon. Any student who violates this policy will be subject to discipline which may include suspension up to one full calendar year (for firearms) or for any term less than one calendar year (for weapons other than firearms) as determined by the administration. Such weapon will be confiscated and released only to law enforcement authorities.
Dangerous Weapons. No student in CJI School District will knowingly possess, handle, carry, or transmit any weapon or dangerous instrument in any school building, on school grounds, in any school vehicle, or at any school sponsored activity. Such weapons include, but are not limited to, a firearm, a pellet or BB gun, a knife with a blade, or a belted sheath knife, a straight razor, ice pick, explosive smoke bomb, incendiary device, slingshot, blowgun, artificial knuckles, pepper spray, or any object that can reasonably be considered a weapon or dangerous instrument whether by threatened or actual use. Dangerous Weapons. The principal will thoroughly investigate reports and rumors regarding weapons, explosives and fireworks and take prompt and reasonable action to protect employees and students and their property. The student's parents or guardians will be promptly informed of the incident and disciplinary action may result from these investigations.
Dangerous Weapons. 30.1. A “dangerous weapon” is any object or device designed or intended to be used to inflict serious injury upon persons or property. The possession of a dangerous weapon is prohibited in HMCC, except as provided below. Concealed weapons are strictly prohibited in the Convention Center. If firearms are an integral part of an event, an exhibitor may display a firearm as part of its exhibit during an event subject to the following: 30.1.1. The exhibitor must comply with all federal, state ad local laws governing the possession and/or sale of firearms. 30.1.2. Firearms may not be loaded or fired in the Convention Center. 30.1.3. Firearms must be deactivated by removal of the firing pin, the bolt or otherwise altered so that they are incapable of being fired.

Dangerous Weapons. Students are not to carry or store any dangerous weapons on school property, including a school bus. This includes jewelry or tools that present a danger to others. These terms also apply to distance learning. Students are not to display dangerous weapons or lookalikes on camera.

  • Dangerous Goods You warrant that the Goods do not include any firearms or goods which are or may become of a dangerous, corrosive, highly combustible, explosive, damaging or noxious nature nor likely to encourage any vermin or pest unless You have disclosed to Us in writing the presence and nature of any such items prior to them being made available to Us for loading or storage. We may refuse to remove or store such items. If We discover any article or substance of this nature after the Goods have been received by Us, We may take any reasonable action, including destruction or disposal, as We may think fit without incurring any liability to You.

  • Hazardous Waste The term “Hazardous Materials”, as used in this lease shall mean pollutants, contaminants, toxic or hazardous wastes, or any other substances, the use and/or the removal of which is required or the use of which is restricted, prohibited or penalized by any “Environmental Law”, which term shall mean any federal, state or local law, ordinance or other statute of a governmental or quasi-governmental authority relating to pollution or protection of the environment. Tenant hereby agrees that (A) no activity will be conducted on the premises that will produce any Hazardous Substance, except for such activities that are part of the ordinary course of Tenant’s business activities (the “Permitted Activities”) provided said Permitted Activities are conducted in accordance with all Environmental Laws and have been approved in advance in writing by Landlord; Tenant shall be responsible for obtaining any required permits and paying any fees and providing any testing required by any governmental agency; (B) the Premises will not be used in any manner for the storage of any Hazardous Substances except for the temporary storage of such materials that are used in the ordinary course of Tenant’s business (the “Permitted Materials”) provided such Permitted Materials are properly stored in a manner and location meeting all Environmental Laws and approved in advance in writing by Landlord; Tenant shall be responsible for obtaining any required permits and paying any fees and providing any testing required by any governmental agency; (C) no portion of the Premises will be used as a landfill or a dump; (D) Tenant will not install any underground tanks of any type; (E) Tenant will not allow any surface or subsurface conditions to exist or come into existence that constitute, or with the passage of time may constitute a public or private nuisance; (F) Tenant will not permit any Hazardous Substances to be brought onto the Premises, except for the Permitted Materials described above, and if so brought or found located thereon, the same shall be immediately removed, with proper disposal, and all required cleanup procedures shall be diligently undertaken pursuant to all Environmental Laws. Landlord or Landlord’s representative shall have the right but not the obligation to enter the Premises for the purpose of inspecting the storage, use and disposal of Permitted Materials to ensure compliance with all Environmental Laws. Should it be determined that said Permitted Materials are being improperly stored, used, or disposed of, Tenant shall immediately take such corrective action as requested by Landlord. Should Tenant fail to take such corrective action within 24 hours, Landlord shall have the right to perform such work and Tenant shall promptly reimburse Landlord for any and all costs associated with said work. If at any time during or after the term of the Lease Term, the Premises are found to be so contaminated or subject to said conditions, Tenant shall diligently institute proper and thorough cleanup procedures at Tenant’s sole cost, and Tenant agrees to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Landlord, its lenders, any managing agents and leasing agents of the Premises, and their respective agents, partners, officers, directors and employees, from all claims, demands, actions, liabilities, costs, expenses, damages (actual or punitive) and obligations of any nature arising from or as a result of the use of the Premises by Tenant. The foregoing indemnification and the responsibilities of Tenant shall survive the termination or expiring of this Lease. During the Lease Term, Tenant shall promptly provide Landlord with copies of all summons, citations, directives, information inquiries or requests, notices of potential responsibility, notices of violation or deficiency, orders and decrees, claims, complaints, investigations, judgments, letters, notice of environmental liens, and other communications, written or oral, actual or threatened, from the United States Environmental Protection Agency, Occupational Safety and Health Administration, the environmental protection agency of the State where the property is located or other federal, state or local agency or authority, or any other entity or individual, concerning (i) any Hazardous Substance and the Premises; (ii) the imposition of any lien on the Premises; or (iii) any alleged violation of or responsibility under any Environmental Law.

  • Accidents and Dangerous Occurrences The Hirer must report all accidents involving injury to the public to a member of the Village Hall management committee as soon as possible and complete the relevant section in the Village Hall’s accident book. Any failure of equipment belonging to the Village Hall or brought in by the Hirer must also be reported as soon as possible. Certain types of accident or injury must be reported on a special form to the local authority. The Hall Secretary will give assistance in completing this form. This is in accordance with the Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations 1995 (RIDDOR).

  • Hazardous Substances The words "Hazardous Substances" mean materials that, because of their quantity, concentration or physical, chemical or infectious characteristics, may cause or pose a present or potential hazard to human health or the environment when improperly used, treated, stored, disposed of, generated, manufactured, transported or otherwise handled. The words "Hazardous Substances" are used in their very broadest sense and include without limitation any and all hazardous or toxic substances, materials or waste as defined by or listed under the Environmental Laws. The term "Hazardous Substances" also includes, without limitation, petroleum and petroleum by-products or any fraction thereof and asbestos.
