In addition, the Chief of Police may grant leave to an employee for some other person (other then family member, as listed), if in the opinion of the Chief of Police, there exists or existed an extraordinary close familial relationship between the employee and such other person.

  • Definition of Immediate Family Immediate family includes husband, wife, child, stepchild, brother, stepbrother, sister, stepsister, parent, stepparent, or any person serving as a parent, or who has served as a parent, or any other person living in the same household as the employee.
