Definition - Relief Employee. Relief employees shall be employed to relieve regular employees absent for periods not to exceed thirty (30) continuous working days due to sickness, vacation, leave of absence (as defined in Article 21) and for temporary workload relief (non-reoccurring, seasonal or project work).
