Definitions and Duties. Except for classroom time (and its associated requirements), Employee will be under the direction and control of a faculty member or supervisor designated by the University (Supervisor) while performing the duties described below. Employee will gain professional and practical experience from the Supervisor while learning the Supervisor’s art or expertise by performing under this Agreement and, therefore, benefiting Employee and FIU.
Definitions and Duties. The term “Board” where used in this Agreement, shall refer to the legally elected or appointed representatives of the School District.
Definitions and Duties. Eligible children are children aged between 16 and 17 years who have been looked after for at least thirteen weeks since the age of 14 years and who are still looked after. This includes unaccompanied asylum children who will be deemed eligible. It does not include young people who have had a series of planned short-term placements (respite care), no longer than four weeks and after each one, returning to their parents or to someone with parental responsibility; nor does it include young people who return home to a parent or someone with parental responsibility for a period of six months or more. Until the young person has been living at home for six months they will remain an eligible or relevant children; if they are under a Care Order they will remain an eligible child until the Court discharges the Care Order or they attain the age of 18 years. Children’s Services is responsible to provide accommodation to eligible young people until their 18th birthday. Relevant children (Children aged 16 or 17 years) are children who were looked after on or after their 16th birthday and who have left care. This includes young people who on reaching 16 years are detained in a remand centre, young offender institution or any other institution ordered by the court or in hospital and immediately prior to being detained or in hospital have been looked after for thirteen weeks since the age of 14 years. Children’s Services is responsible to provide accommodation to “relevant” young people who were previously “Eligible” until their 18th birthday. Former relevant children are young people aged between 18 and 21 years (in some cases 24 years) who have either been eligible or relevant children or both. If the young person is still being helped by his responsible authority with education or training, he remains a former relevant child to the end of the agreed programme of education or training even if that takes him past the age of 21. These young people can now access universal benefits and Local Authorities will no longer be primarily responsible for their financial support and maintenance. This includes access and support with housing costs

B. The term “Employee” where used in this Agreement, shall refer to the Technology Integration Specialist, Xx. Xxxxxx.
C. The School District agrees to continue to employ Xx. Xxxxxx as its Technology Integration Specialist and Xx. Xxxxxx agrees to continue to serve the School District as its Technology Integration Specialist. As such, Xx. Xxxxxx'x duties include, but are not limited to those outlined in the Job Description available in the District Job Description Manual. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the School District reserves the right to change or supplement the duties of the Technology Integration Specialist upon reasonable prior notice.
Definitions and Duties. For the purpose of this Agreement, the following definitions shall apply:
A. A gateman is a person stationed at an entrance to the Employer’s place of business to control the entrance and exit of persons and vehicles as directed by the Employer.
B. Dock and cargo watchmen, barge watchmen, and clockmen are watchmen employed on the pier or terminal for either routine protection of property or for the special protection of specific property to which they are assigned against loss by damage, theft, or other cause.
C. Gangway watchmen are watchmen employed at the gangway of a ship to control the boarding of persons and for the protection of property against loss by theft or other cause as directed by the Employer.
D. Watchmen, in the course of their duties, may be directed by their Employer to additional duties including, but not limited to, the following:
(1) Rover watchmen to travel within the confines of the installation for protection of property against loss by theft or fire and against unauthorized person or persons gaining entrance to the property. When directed by the Employer, rover watchmen shall be assigned to travel outside terminal boundaries.
(2) Bus drivers and/or vehicle operators to transport authorized personnel to and from the vessels and/or other point as authorized by the company.
(3) When directed by the Employer, traffic watchmen shall be assigned to travel outside the terminal boundaries or within the facility to regulate vehicular and pedestrian traffic. The parties recognize that extenuating circumstances in regard to health and safety may occur that necessitate management intervention. In such cases, employees shall be immediately called to the area.
(4) Relief watchmen to provide the required breaks and meal periods outlined in Article 4 (C) and 4 (F) of this agreement.
E. Watchmen to monitor video terminals or similar technology for security purposes. This does not prohibit management from monitoring video terminals or similar technology for operational needs.
F. When a detainee watch or cabin watch is required on the vessels or at the facilities of the Employers party to this Agreement, ILWU Local 26 watchmen shall be employed.
G. Watchmen shall perform all duties associated with and in conjunction with rail security pursuant to this Agreement as designated by the Employer.
H. Watchmen’s duties include hooking up ship’s telephones and reviewing recorded security information for various purposes.

C. The School District agrees to employ Xx. Xxxxxx as its Assistant to the Superintendent for Operations and Xx. Xxxxxx agrees to continue to serve the School District as its Assistant to the Superintendent for Operations. As such, Xx. Xxxxxx’x duties include, but are not limited to those outlined in the Job Description for the Assistant to the Superintendent for Operations. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the School District reserves the right to change or supplement the duties of the Assistant to the Superintendent for Operations upon reasonable prior notice.

C. The School District agrees to continue to employ Xx. Xxxxx as its Coordinator of Communications and Public Relations and Xx. Xxxxx agrees to continue to serve the School District as its Coordinator of Communications and Public Relations. As such, Xx. Xxxxx'x duties include, but are not limited to those outlined in the Job Description available in the District Job Description Manual. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the School District reserves the right to change or supplement the duties of the Coordinator of Communications and Public Relations upon reasonable prior notice.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, the School District reserves the right to change or supplement the duties of the Second Shift Supervisor upon reasonable prior notice.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, the School District reserves the right to change or supplement the duties of the Custodial Supervisor upon reasonable prior notice.

Xxxxxx’x duties include, but are not limited to those outlined in the Job Description for the First Shift Supervisor position. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the School District reserves the right to change or supplement the duties of the First Shift Supervisor upon reasonable prior notice.
