The Shift Supervisor clause defines the role, responsibilities, and authority of the individual designated as the supervisor for a particular work shift. Shift Supervisor. A security guard as defined above, but designated by the Company as a shift supervisor, which may include the additional responsibilities of the ability to make recommendations to hire, on-site training of security guards, on-site discipline up to and including recommendation for termination of security guards, and other duties as assigned by the Company from time to time.
Shift Supervisor is a Nurse who is designated by the Employer to assume direct responsibility for the operation of the home on evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.

Shift Supervisor. 76.1 All employees may be assigned to Shift Supervisor shifts. CSRs and Senior CSRs assigned to this shift will receive the Shift Supervisor allowance provided in clause 74.

HSE Advisor Promoting and driving MSS safety mind-set, and the continuous performance towards a zero incident goal through the following responsibilities: ● Drive safety/incident free workshops for the project, including crew, client and 3rd party contractors; ● Act as trusted advisor and courageous advocate for the offshore project construction manager (OPCM) on all safety related matters; ● Ensure that HSE Plans and relevant HSE Management System and Emergency Response documentation is established, implemented and maintained for the life of the Project. ● Promote safety related industry best practices and lessons learned; ● Report on HSE matters to the project/OPM; ● Together with the HSEQ coordinators propose or co-ordinate safety activities and ensure they are properly implemented; ● Provide support and advice to all project and worksite personnel on matters related to HSE ● Chair, participate and review of Hazard Identification and Risk Assessments as requiredParticipate in incident and near miss investigations and implementation of corrective actions where required ● Resolve any HSE related problems that may arise.

  • Site Safety Supervisor 62.1 On every job site, where the Employer is the principal contractor it shall appoint a management representative responsible for safety (Site Safety Supervisor). The Employer will ensure the Site Safety Supervisor has the necessary authority to ensure that all safety laws, procedures or Codes of Practice are observed, and that the following Safety Agreement is applied. 62.2 The Employer when appointing the person appointed as the Site Safety Supervisor must ensure that person has and maintainsthe appropriate experience and knowledge of the safety requirements of the work being performed. Other duties may be assigned by the Employer to a Site Safety Supervisor, provided that such duties shall not prevent him/her from exercising their duties as a Site Safety Supervisor.

  • Level Two - Superintendent If the aggrieved person is not satisfied with the disposition of his/her grievance at Level One, or if no decision is reached within six (6) school days after the grievance was referred to the building principal or immediate supervisor, then within ten (10) school days a written grievance shall be referred to the Superintendent. A decision shall be rendered by the Superintendent within ten (10) school days after its presentation.

  • Immediate Supervisor The term "immediate supervisor" as used in this Article refers to the appropriate non-bargaining unit supervisory or management person to whom the employee is accountable.

  • CONTRACTOR SUPERVISION Contractor shall provide competent supervision of personnel employed on the job Site, use of equipment, and quality of workmanship.

  • Labour Management Committee (a) Where the parties mutually agree that there are matters of mutual concern and interest that would be beneficial if discussed at a Labour Management Committee Meeting during the term of this Agreement, the following shall apply. (b) An equal number of representatives of each party as mutually agreed shall meet at a time and place mutually satisfactory. A request for a meeting hereunder will be made in writing prior to the date proposed and accompanied by an agenda of matters proposed to be discussed, which shall not include matters that are properly the subject of grievance or negotiations for the amendment or renewal of this agreement. Any representative(s) attending such meetings during their regularly scheduled hours of work shall not lose regular earnings as a result of such attendance. (c) It is agreed that the topic of a rehabilitation program for drug and alcohol abuse is an appropriate topic for the Labour-Management Committee. It is also agreed that the topic of the utilization of full-time and part-time staff is an appropriate topic for the Labour-Management Committee. The committee shall have access to work schedules and job postings upon request. (d) It is understood that joint meetings with other Labour-Management Committees in the Hospital may be scheduled concerning issues of mutual interest if satisfactory to all concerned. (e) Where two or more agreements exist between a Hospital and CUPE the Committee may be a joint one representing employees under both agreements, unless otherwise agreed.
