Demising Partitions. All demising partitions between Tenant's space and adjacent space must be fully sheathed using 5/8" Type X gypsum board, taped and finished, from floor to structure above.
Demising Partitions. Shall be constructed to extend from floor slab to underside of roof deck or steel beam above. Construct with fire rated code 5/8" type X gypsum wallboard on each side, sound batt insulation in 3 5/8" metal studs (24" on center) taped and spackled with vinyl base. Fire rated caulk to be applied all around. Each side of the partition to be painted with two (2) coats of flat paint and contains a 4" carpet base. Any other unfinished concrete or masonry walls or columns are to be furred with 1'/2" gypsum wallboard over 1 1/2' studs at 24" on center. Insulation is to be provided per the design energy calculations.
Demising Partitions. A. PARTY WALL PARTITIONS separating Tenant spaces shall be constructed of 3 1/2" metal studs with one layer of 1/2" gypsum wall board on each side, or equivalent, and shall extend to the underside of structural deck above. Demising walls shall contain 2 1/2" roll-type fiberglass sound installation. Exposed wall surfaces will be taped and patched in preparation for wall finishes.
B. CORRIDOR WALL PARTITIONS separating Tenant spaces from a common hallway shall be 3 1/2" metal studs with one layer of 5/8" gypsum wall board on each side, or equal, and shall extend to the underside of structural deck above. Corridor wall partitions shall contain 2 1/2" roll-type fiberglass sound insulation. Exposed wall surfaces will be taped and patched in preparation for wall finishes.
Demising Partitions. Those walls that separate the rentable space from one tenant to another. These one (1) hour fire rated walls shall be installed from floor to underside of roof deck and shall include 6"-18" gauge metal studs 12" o/c with 5/8" type "X" wall board, taped, spackled, and painted white. 1/2" plywood will be applied at a height of 4' and painted white.
Demising Partitions. Non-combustible, unfinished, masonry partitions between the Premises and any service corridors; unfinished precast concrete panels at exterior wall, where applicable. Demising partitions between tenant premises will be metal studs without drywall.
(10) Egress Doors Egress doors, if any, from the Premises shall be provided with slide bolt hardware only. Door will be bored to accept dead bolt hardware. The location of any such egress doors will be indicated on the Lease Outline Drawing. Such egress doors shall not include customer or storefront doors since they are the responsibility of Tenant.
Demising Partitions. Demising partitions are provided between Tenant and other tenants, and/or Tenant and exit and/or service corridors, of the construction type shown on the Lease Outline Drawings. Partitions separating the Premises from other tenant premises will consist of metal studs only (no drywall). Tenant construction shall provide a one (1) hour separation. Partitions separating the Premises from service corridors or other Landlord areas will have dry-wall on the Landlord side only or CMU wall
Demising Partitions. 2.1. As above except they are full height one side with sound batt between the studs. Openings with sound insulation for return-air plenum (include fire dampers in fire walls).
Demising Partitions. Demising partitions are not load bearing and Tenant may not hang fixtures from them. Should Tenant require structure and/or backing to accommodate the loading of Tenant's wall hung fixtures, said request shall be in writing to landlord for approval. Additional structure and backing shall be furnished and installed by Tenant at Tenant's Expense. Tenant shall install drywall, taped and spackled on demising partitions between tenants. No drywall shall be placed on demising partitions above 12'-0" without Landlord's specific approval. Above 12'-0" the Tenant may, subject to Landlord's prior written approval, continue with wire mesh for security purposes if so indicated on Tenant's construction drawings. The Tenant, upon Landlord's approval, may also install drywall to a higher level if openings of sufficient size are provided to assure that the smoke venting system provided by the Landlord functions as designed - see Tenant Handbook for specific requirements.

Demising Partitions. Furnish and install partitions with 2½" x 25 gauge metal studs at 24" on center, slab to slab, at floors above the ground floor, with one layer of 5/8" thick type "X" drywall on each side. Provide 2½" thick full batt sound insulation, seismic bracing as required, and control joints and control joint sealants in partitions, as recommended by gypsum wall board manufacturer. All joints are to be taped; visible joints to be spackled and sanded ready for painting. Caulk joint between bottom of wall board and the floor.
