Common use of Departmental Transfers Clause in Contracts

Departmental Transfers. The Transfer of an Employee from a Position in one job title to another Position in the same job title in a different department shall be called a departmental Transfer, and may be made only with the consent of the Appointing Authority or authorities concerned and the Employee; provided, that if, in the judgment of the Appointing Authority of the department to which the Employee is Transferred, the services rendered by the Employee are not satisfactory, or if the Employee feels that the new Position is unsatisfactory, such Employee shall be returned to his original Position at any time within thirty (30) calendar days after the department Transfer is made.
