Description of Specific Project. [Insert a paragraph that describes the Specific Project that is the subject of this Service Order.]
Description of Specific Project. The design of a maneuvering basin to accommodate the Very Large Crude Carrier (VLCC) docks at the new Harbor Island docks. The PCCA has requested that Engineer develop a conceptual layout of the basin to facilitate further discussions with the Aransas-Corpus Christi Pilots regarding vessel maneuverability as well as to better define the project scope, budget and schedule.
Description of Specific Project. The PCCA routinely obtains regular bathymetric surveys on its docks and waterways to ensure that current and accurate data is maintained on water depths. In addition, miscellaneous survey services are required, on an as needed basis, to support capital and maintenance projects, management of PCCA assets, and PCCA real estate transactions.
Description of Specific Project. Under this Service Order, ENGINEER will perform tasks and provide services necessary to produce final designs and construction ready plans and specifications related to PCCA Project No. 18-028A – GCGV Asset Holding LLC (GCGV) Multi-purpose Dock Berth Dredging Project The project includes:
Description of Specific Project. The underground utility infrastructure at Cargo Dock 9 is in poor and failing condition. The wastewater force main north of the warehouse had three failures in 2017 and one more recently in March 2020. Failures to the storm infrastructure have created a sink hole and sediment infiltration into the storm system, reducing capacity. Storm water and wastewater infrastructure issues and improvements at Cargo Dock 9 were detailed in an Assessment Report previously prepared by Engineer under Service Order No. 1. This project will develop a detailed design and construction plans to install a new wastewater force main and improve the underground drainage system at Cargo Dock 9.
Description of Specific Project. Engineer will perform Program and Project Management services to support execution of the Corpus Christi Ship Channel Improvement Project (CIP), currently under design and construction by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE). Under this service order, Engineer will provide staff dedicated to ensuring that the USACE and the CIP moves forward on an expedited schedule with the goal of completing construction of the entire CIP by the end of 2021.
Description of Specific Project. Engineer will provide various professional engineering, environmental, surveying, and permitting services to support the PCCA business development opportunities for various public and confidential customers.
Description of Specific Project. With the 54 foot channel deepening project now underway and the expansion of import and export activity at the Port of Corpus Christi, PCCA has plans to develop three new docks on the north side of the Corpus Christi Inner Harbor adjacent to the Chemical Turning Basin and the Tule lake Channel east from the Bulk Terminal. To develop these docks the sediment to be excavated and/or dredged must be characterized prior to placement. Characterization of the dredged material will be accomplished by collecting 12 sediment and 4 water samples analyzing for the sediment for bulk sediment chemistry and elutriate testing, water chemistry and collection and analysis of the necessary QA/QC samples. Sediment and water samples will be analyzed for the referenced parameters in the approved the Sampling and Analysis Plan on a 20-day turnaround time. The project includes preparing a summary report for submittal to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE).
Description of Specific Project. Anticipated in 2021, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will be awarding a construction contract to complete a phase of the Corpus Christi Ship Channel Improvement Project (CIP) to increase the channel depth from -47 feet Mean Lower Low Water (MLLW) to -54 ft MLLW within the Port’s Inner Harbor. Oil Dock 1, located within the Port’s Inner Harbor, will need improvements and repairs should the Port proceed with deepening the existing berth to match the CIP dredge depth. Aframax, Panamax, and Suezmax size ships routinely call on this dock, with the anticipation of larger class vessels fully loaded to be berthed at Oil Dock 1 for the long-term future. This facility is proposed to remain operational and in-service during construction of improvements.
Description of Specific Project. Engineer previously prepared Issued for Bid plans dated December 7, 2018 for the Levee Raise at Good Hope DMPA project (Project No. 18-040A), which included options for raising levees at both Good Hope DMPA Cell I (south cell) and Cell J (north cell). Ultimately, only Cell I was awarded and constructed. The scope of work in this project includes updating engineering plans and contract documents to resolicit the levee raise at Cell J. In addition, this scope includes design and incorporation of drainage improvements into the contract documents.
