Development Opportunities Sample Clauses

Development Opportunities. The Employer agrees to maintain its continuing effort to provide unit members with training and the opportunity to attend professional meetings necessary for the accomplishment of assigned duties. Priority shall be given to immediate work requirements when assigning training or professional meeting activities.
Development Opportunities. A. Employees, their spouses or domestic partners, who register for credit course are exempted from the payment of tuition subject to the following provisions: 1. The Employee must be employed on a half-time basis or more; 2. Each academic semester not more than six (6) credits may be carried exempt from tuition; 3. The Employee's normal University duties shall be carried out as usual; 4. The Employees, their spouses or domestic partners may enroll only after the regular students have had an opportunity to register; and 5. The Employee's, spouse’s or domestic partner’s enrollment shall place no undue or unusual burden on the instructor in the course. B. These provisions for tuition and fee exemption do not apply to individual instruction in such fields as music nor to Summer Session or College of Continuing Education credits or non-credit courses, except with special permission of the appropriate Xxxx.
Development Opportunities. (a) The Company may identify local or fleet-wide training opportunities for anticipated operational needs or development opportunities. Such opportunities shall be posted to allow interested employees to apply. (b) Employees shall be selected for training opportunities based on meeting the qualifications, availability, ability, and suitability requirements as determined by the Company, in order of seniority. (c) Upon successful completion of the training, employees deemed capable are eligible to substitute or be appointed.
Development Opportunities. MS-GWMG shall work with the jointly appointed Industrial Psychologists to develop workplace initiatives designed to attract African Americans and Latinos to MS-GWMG as Financial Advisors, and to retain them and enhance their success, including targeted mentoring and training. Training and mentoring may include but is not limited to training conference calls, online courses, and in person seminars. The Industrial Psychologists shall make recommendations for increasing participation of African American and Latino Financial Advisors and Registered Financial Advisor Trainees in development opportunities. These recommendations will be made in accordance with Section VII.G.2. below. MS-XXXX additionally agrees to conduct exit interviews of Financial Advisors and Registered Financial Advisor Trainees who terminate voluntarily in order to gain a better understanding as to the reason for the departures. MS-GWMG shall report the results of the exit interviews of African American and Latino Financial Advisors and Registered Financial Advisor Trainees annually to the Industrial Psychologists, the Diversity Monitor and individuals within MS-GWMG responsible for hiring Financial Advisors and Registered Financial Advisor Trainees. MS-GWMG agrees to maintain its commitment to the biannual Minority Business Exchange.
Development OpportunitiesIn conjunction with City staff, Manager shall at the request of the City Manager develop requests for proposals for new development opportunities on the Property and assist in developing recommendations to the City Commission for selection of development partners for projects identified in the Master Plan.
Development Opportunities. If none of the Westway Facilities have the required excess capacity, offer the required storage services, and/or are located in a geographic location reasonably necessary to meet the storage requirements of Man, Man and Westway will in good faith (a) explore whether Westway’s acquisition or development of additional Westway Facilities, storage capacity, or services would be of mutual benefit to both parties and, if so, (b) negotiate and execute a TSA Schedule for the provision of such storage services by Westway to Man following Westway’s development of such new Westway Facility.
