Design-Builder Contracting. In conjunction with the City and SAG, Consultant shall assist with the negotiation of the Design-Builder's agreement. 22 OWNER'S REPRESENTATIVE SERVICES-MIAMI BEACH CONVENTION CENTER RENOVATION&EXPANSION PART 2 - ADMINISTRATION OF THE DESIGN-BUILD PHASE (DESIGN DEVELOPMENT AND CONSTRUCTION) The City intends to assign Services for the Design Build phase of the Project via separate Consultant Service Orders which correspond to the Notice to Proceed issued for each portion of the Design-Build Phase, including the Design Development phase which the City anticipates shall take place in 2015 following execution of the Design-Build Contract, as well as the Construction Phase, which the City anticipates shall commence on or about December, 2015. The Services during this phase shall include, but shall not be limited to, the following: 2.1 On-Site Owner's Representative. The Consultant shall serve as the City's on-site representative of the City at the site, and subject to review by the City or his/her duly authorized representative, shall have the authority to monitor the performance of the Work to confirm conformance with the Design Criteria Package and Contract Documents. The Consultant shall assign on-site dedicated staff to monitor the Design-Builder during construction. 2.2

  • Design-Builder The person or entity responsible for the proper completion of the activities described in the Contract Documents and who executes the Contract.

  • SUB-CONTRACTING 31.1. The Authority approves the appointment of the sub-contractors specified in Schedule 10 (Approved Sub-contractors) in respect of the obligations specified in that Schedule.

  • Construction Contract If federal funds are included as part of the financing of the non-OPWC portion of the Project, federal law may prevail, including, but not limited to, application of Xxxxx Xxxxx prevailing wage rates, the Xxxxxxxx “Anti-Kickback” Act, the Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act, and any federal environmental regulations. Recipient is solely responsible for ensuring compliance with federal requirements applicable to its Local Subdivision Contribution.   • SCOPE OF ARCHITECT’S BASIC SERVICES 3.1 The Architect’s Basic Services consist of those described in this Article 3 and include usual and customary structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering services. Services not set forth in this Article 3 are Supplemental or Additional Services.

  • Construction Contracts Item A: Enter the total dollar amount of all contacts awarded on the project/ program. Item B: Enter the total dollar amount of contracts connected with this project/program that were awarded to Section 3 businesses.

  • Drawings and Specifications at the Project Site The Contractor shall keep at the Site at least one copy of the Contract Documents and Change Orders, all in good order and available to the Design Professional and to his representatives.

  • Design Documents Prepare and submit the following documents to the DAS - Records Management Office with a copy of the transmittal letter submitted to the respective Project Manager:

  • SUB-CONTRACTOR Section 1. The Employer shall not contract any work covered by this Agreement to be done at the site of construction, alterations, repairs or any new construction to any person, firm or company that does not have an existing labor agreement with the Union covering such work within the scope of this Agreement.

  • Construction Contract Documents The Construction Contract Documents shall consist of the plans and specifications prepared by the Engineer, and any addenda and change orders thereto, and the Owner-Contractor Agreement, all of which shall be compatible and consistent with this Agreement.

  • Architect/Engineer (A/E) means a person registered as an architect pursuant to Tex. Occ. Code Xxx., Chapter 1051, as a landscape architect pursuant to Tex. Occ. Code Xxx., Chapter 1052, a person licensed as a professional engineer pursuant to Tex. Occ. Code Xxx., Chapter 1001 and/or a firm employed by Owner or a design-build contractor to provide professional architectural or engineering services and to exercise overall responsibility for the design of a Project or a significant portion thereof, and to perform the contract administration responsibilities set forth in the Contract.
