Design Strategy Sample Clauses

Design Strategy. The DF and PS1 scaffolds differ in the inter- helical separation and registry of their four-helix bundle domains (SI Appendix, Fig. S1). Therefore, it was necessary to design linkers that connect the two bundles in an energetically reasonable manner. To accomplish this, the helical bundles were connected using a structure-based design strategy involving two interrelated steps: first, the optimal relative translation and orientation be- tween the bundles, namely the bundle placement, were deter- mined; second, a structural solution interconnecting each of the disjointed helices between the domains was identified. In the most general case, the bundle placement involves searching a six-dimensional space, comprising three translational

Design Strategy. The Dell APEX Service has been designed from the beginning with redundancy and automation at multiple levels to adapt automatically to several different disaster scenarios, such as the sudden unavailability of a data center. The Dell APEX Service also makes use of established hosting providers with sophisticated redundancy to mitigate risks arising from an individual server or disk failure.

  • Design Development An interim step in the design process. Design Development documents consist of plans, elevations, and other drawings and outline specifications. These documents will fix and illustrate the size and character of the entire project in its essentials as to kinds of materials, type of structure, grade elevations, sidewalks, utilities, roads, parking areas, mechanical and electrical systems, and such other work as may be required.

  • Design Development Phase Services 3.3.1 Based on the Owner’s approval of the Schematic Design Documents, and on the Owner’s authorization of any adjustments in the Project requirements and the budget for the Cost of the Work, the Architect shall prepare Design Development Documents for the Owner’s approval. The Design Development Documents shall illustrate and describe the development of the approved Schematic Design Documents and shall consist of drawings and other documents including plans, sections, elevations, typical construction details, and diagrammatic layouts of building systems to fix and describe the size and character of the Project as to architectural, structural, mechanical and electrical systems, and other appropriate elements. The Design Development Documents shall also include outline specifications that identify major materials and systems and establish, in general, their quality levels.

  • Design Development Phase INDICATE IN STATEMENT OF WORK “NOT APPLICABLE” IF SECTION IS NOT APPLICABLE

  • Design Services The Engineer shall perform services during the schematic design phase, the design development phase, the contract documents phase, and the bidding period as hereinafter specified.

  • Design Development Documents See Section 2, Part 1, Article 2.1.5.

  • Design XXX XXX XXXXX Plan and Aligned Budget In building budgets, please keep in mind that federal funds should be utilized to supplement your state and local funds. The ARP XXXXX budget submitted through the Utah Grants Management System does not have to include state and local funds, but their availability and utilization should be considered the foundation for building recovery and acceleration plans. As you are braiding various state and federal funds, be mindful that some funds expire at different times than others. The increased federal funds will enhance the opportunities that you can offer, but we encourage you to think holistically as you assess your LEA’s situation and make plans for academic recovery and acceleration.

  • Design Criteria A/E shall prepare all work in accordance with the latest version of applicable County’s procedures, specifications, manuals, guidelines, standard drawings, and standard specifications. A/E shall prepare each Plans, Specifications, and Estimates (PS&E) package in a form suitable for letting through County’s construction contract bidding and awarding process.

  • Design Phase Services § 3.2.1 The Architect shall review the program and other information furnished by the Owner, and shall review laws, codes, and regulations applicable to the Architect’s services.

  • Project Development a. Collaborate with COUNTY and project clients to identify requirements and develop a project Scope Statement.

  • Design Standards Most recent edition of the “Owner’s Design Standards,” including any partial updates as may be directed by the Owner.
