Common use of Designated Clause in Contracts

Designated. Paid Holidays - where an employee is granted a designated paid holiday pursuant to Article 17—Paid Holidays, the time off granted will be seven hours per designated paid holiday for a full-time employee and prorated for a part-time employee. Where the scheduled workday exceeds seven hours, the resulting difference shall be included in the work schedules established pursuant to Clause 14.2.

Designated. Paid Holidays - where an employee is granted a designated paid holiday pursuant to Article 17—17 - Paid Holidays, the time off granted will be seven/seven and one-half hours per designated paid holiday for a full-time employee and prorated for a part-time employee. Where the scheduled workday exceeds seven hours, the resulting difference shall be included in the work schedules established pursuant to Clause 14.2eighty (2,080) hour schedule.

Where Effective April 1, 1999 the scheduled workday exceeds time off granted will be seven hours, the resulting difference shall (7) hours per designated paid holiday for a full-time employee working a seven (7) hour shift and seven and one-half (7½) hours for an employee working a seven and one-half (7½) hour shift or greater. Part-time employees will be included in the work schedules established pursuant to Clause 14.2prorated.

Where the scheduled workday work day exceeds seven and three-quarter (7¾) hours, the resulting difference shall be included in the work schedules established pursuant to Clause 14.2.
