DETENTION OFFICERS. Service Provider's uniformed staff members responsible for the security, care, transportation, and supervision of detainees during all phases of activity in a detention facility. The officer is also responsible for the safety and security of the facility.

DETENTION OFFICERS. Following ratification of this Agreement, the City shall conduct an audit of the Detention Officer classification.
DETENTION OFFICERS. Effective January 1, 2020, up to and including June 30, 2020, Detention Officers assigned to perform Detention Shift Supervisor duties shall be compensated at a flat rate of Three Dollars and Twenty Cents ($3.20) per hour above their current hourly rate. Such pay adjustments shall only be made for those hours assigned to perform work as an Acting Shift Supervisor. Subject to Workday implementation, effective July 1, 2020, Detention Officers assigned to perform Detention Shift Supervisor duties shall be compensated as follows: a. When an employee is assigned to work in a job classification that is one (1) classification higher than his or her own, the employee shall be paid a flat rate of seven point five percent (7.5%) per hour above their current hourly rate. b. When an employee is assigned to work in a job classification that is two (2) classifications higher than his or her own, the employee shall be paid at a flat rate of fifteen percent (15%) per hour above their current hourly rate. c. When an employee is assigned to work in a job classification that is three (3) classifications or higher than his or her own, the employee shall be paid at a flat rate of twenty percent (20%) per hour above their current hourly rate. d. The language outlined in this section 8.6 is effective July 1, 2020. Any out of class pay assignments in place prior to July 1, 2020, will end on June 30, 2020. Departments that wish to continue the out of class assignment will submit a new request to continue the assignment for July 1, 2020, and going forward. Employees continuing such assignments will not be subject to a new eligibility period. In the event Workday implementation is delayed for any reason, out of class pay revisions will begin October 1, 2020.

  • Union Officials 1. The Union will notify the Company in writing of the election, appointment, or removal of Union shop xxxxxxx(s). Effective upon the Date of Signing of this Agreement, the Company will assume the cost of a total of 150,000 hours of straight-time pay per year, to be used by shop stewards and other employees authorized by the Union for the purpose of administration of this Agreement and all other collective bargaining agreements between the Union and the Company. a. Shop stewards and other employees authorized by District Lodge 141 must give prior notice and report all time spent on Union business to the designated management representative. b. The Union will apportion the total annual allotment of 150,000 hours among the Company collective bargaining agreements it administers. In the event of an increase or reduction in the number of such agreements, the parties will meet to discuss and agree upon a proportionate adjustment in the hours allotment. 3. The parties will work with each other in good faith to ensure both that: (1) employees are reasonably represented in grievances and (2) the Company’s operation continues without undue delay. 4. The Union will provide the Company with the names, addresses, and phone numbers of its official Union Representatives. 5. The Company will provide the Union a reasonable amount of time as needed (not to exceed 2 hours) to participate in new-hire orientation for employees covered under this Agreement. 6. If requested by the Union and agreed to by the Company, Local Committeemen may be assigned to the Day Shift and to Saturday and Sunday as regular days off. In the event a significant dispute arises and remains unresolved it may be escalated to the level of AGC and HR at that station and, if not resolved, to the VP of Labor Relations and the President and Directing General Chairman.

  • Salaries and Fees of Officers The Manager shall pay all salaries, expenses, and fees of the officers and directors of the Corporation who are affiliated with the Manager.

  • Additional Officers The Trustees from time to time may appoint such other officers or agents as they may deem advisable, each of whom shall have such title, hold office for such period, have such authority and perform such duties as the Trustees may determine.
