Deviation from Seniority Order for Layoff or Recall/Effect on. 10 Seniority and Insurance Benefits 11 When implementing limited duration layoff or recall from such layoff the 12 County may deviate from the normal order of seniority layoff or recall otherwise 13 required by the parties’ collective bargaining agreement. Such deviation shall not be 14 for a period exceeding seven (7) calendar days. A more senior employee who would 15 have been retained or recalled but for the departure from normal seniority order of 16 layoff or recall may use vacation or leave without pay for the period between the date 17 he or she would have bumped or been recalled under normal procedures and the 18 effective date of the general school based health summer layoff or recall as 19 determined by the School Based Health Manager. In addition, such employees will 20 accrue seniority and be eligible for medical and dental insurance coverage as though 21 they were laid off or recalled in accordance with normal layoff or recall procedures.

If such an Event Beyond Our Control occurs and We consider it appropriate to do so, We may notify You of the Event Beyond Our Control by any reasonable means, including by a public announcement.

  • Teaching Staff Assigned to More Than One Building Each Educator who is assigned to more than one building will be evaluated by the appropriate administrator where the individual is assigned most of the time. The principal of each building in which the Educator serves must review and sign the evaluation, and may add written comments. In cases where there is no predominate assignment, the superintendent will determine who the primary evaluator will be.
