Regular Status. Appointment to regular status is contingent on satisfactorily meeting the Company’s medical requirements.
1. Probationary employees must serve a minimum of three months on probation. If service is satisfactory, they may be accorded regular status at that time. A period of not more than three more months can be used as a further period of probation if it is needed. At the end of this further period, employees must either be made regular, transferred to another position or dismissed. Regular part-time probationary employees must serve up to six calendar months on probation.
2. Temporary employees engaged in work of a continuing nature, shall be afforded regular status upon attaining 12 months accumulated service. In such circumstances the employee's position will be considered to be a vacancy. If the former temporary employee is not selected to this vacancy he/she will be declared surplus in accordance with Article 11.
3. Temporary employees engaged in work which is not of a continuing nature, shall be afforded regular seasonal “A” status upon attaining 12 months accumulated service.
Regular Status. Regular status shall commence with the day following the expiration date of the probationary period.
Regular Status. Nurses who satisfactorily complete their probationary period hold regular status. The employment status of regular status nurses shall be determined as follows.
Regular Status. Regular status is afforded all qualified employees of the District, other than employees who are on probation or are contract employees.
Regular Status. 20 The status a classified employee acquires upon successful completion 21 of the probationary period for the classification to which the employee was appointed.

2. Where it can be foreseen that full-time work at a location within the PWU’s jurisdiction will be ongoing for more than a twenty-four (24) month period or full-time work at a location has been ongoing for a twenty-four (24) month period, the full-time position will be posted and filled as a regular position in accordance with Article 10. Gaps of two months or less in continuity of the full-time work will not limit the employer’s obligation to post and fill said position. The Employer shall meet quarterly with the Union to provide detailed information on all upcoming work as far in advance of the work as possible. Once a temporary employee has attained twenty-four (24) months of accumulated service he/she shall be granted regular full time employee status. In such circumstances the employee`s position will be considered a vacancy and posted. If the former temporary employee is not selected to this vacancy he/she will be declared surplus in accordance with Article 11. No later than eighteen (18) months after the commencement of work by a temporary employee, or a combination of temporary employees performing work in the same classification at a location, the Employer shall notify the Union of its intention to (a) post and fill full time regular position(s) in the appropriate classification or (b) lay off the temporary employee within the next six (6) months. Should the Employer select option (b) above, no temporary employee will be hired to perform work in that classification at that location for the next six
Regular Status. For the purpose of this agreement, regular status shall mean; full time, non-probationary status. Regular status shall commence with the day following the expiration date of a probationary period.
Regular Status. Initial Entry or Promotion When an employee first receives regular status, the employee shall be advanced to the next pay step in the employee's pay range.
Regular Status. Regular status in the assigned (new) position shall commence with the day following the expiration date of the probationary period.
Regular Status. Upon successful completion of the ninety (90) work days probationary period, an individual will be converted to a regular status employee.
