DIDS EMPLOYEE LEVEL 8. 2.1.1 An employee at this level has completed up to three months’ structured training so as to enable the employee to perform work within the scope of this level. To the level of his/her skills, competence and training, the employee: • works in accordance with standard operating procedures and established criteria; • works under direct supervision, either individually or in a team environment; • understands and undertakes basic quality control/assurance procedures, including the ability to recognise basic quality deviations/faults; • understands and utilises basic statistical process control procedures; • follows safe work practices and can report workplace hazards.

  • Active/Inactive Employee If you are covered under another plan as an active employee, your benefits and those of your dependents under that plan will be determined before benefits under this plan. The plan covering the active employee and dependents will be the primary plan. The plan covering that same employee as inactive (including those who are retired or have been laid off) will be the secondary plan for that employee and dependents.
