Common use of Disabled, Injured or Older Worker Clause in Contracts

Disabled, Injured or Older Worker. Upon agreement of the parties to this agreement, subject to WorkSafeBC Regulations and Insurance Carrier(s) policy the Employer may provide suitable alternate employment when, through advancing years, injury, illness or handicap, an employee is unable to perform his normal duties. Such employee shall not displace an employee with more seniority and such requests shall be referred to the Labour-Management Committee for resolution.
