Minimum Daily Hours. The Employer shall make every reasonable effort to schedule employees for shifts of a minimum of four (4) hours.

ARTICLE OVERTIME Overtime is time worked beyond seven (7) hours in a day or thirty-five (35) hours in a week. All overtime must be authorized in advance by the employee’s supervisor and shall be paid for at the rate of time and one-half for the first two (2) hours per day and double time thereafter. Overtime shall be on a voluntary basis, however, employees will cooperate in meeting overtime requirements. Overtime shall be shared equally amongst employees in the same classification at the same location. Employees will not be required to take time off in lieu of overtime payments.
