DISCIPLINE PROCEDURES. 22.1 The Association and the District agree that the basic goal of progressive discipline is to correct and/or remediate unsatisfactory employee performance, unsatisfactory fulfillment of job responsibilities, unsatisfactory attendance, or unsatisfactory personal conduct. Progressive discipline steps may be skipped at the sole discretion of the District based on the severity of the employee’s conduct, as determined by the District. The progressive discipline process may include the following steps: 1) oral warning/conference, 2) written warning, 3) letter of reprimand, 4) suspension without pay, 5) dismissal. The District and the Association agree to form a committee during the 2007-08 school year for the purpose of:
