DISCUSSIONS BEFORE REDUNDANCY. Where the Company has made an in principal decision that it no longer wishes the job the Employee(s) has been doing be done by anyone or there is a downturn in work and this is not due to the ordinary and customary turnover of labour and that decision may lead to termination of employment, the Company shall hold discussions with the Employee(s) directly affected and the representatives of the Employees if nominated.

  • Discussions Before Termination (a) Where an employer has made a definite decision that the employer no longer wishes the job the employee has been doing done by anyone and this is not due to the ordinary and customary turnover of labour and that decision may lead to termination of employment, the employer shall hold discussions with the employees directly affected and with his/her union, where applicable.

This right to be represented does not extend to informal discussions between an employee and a supervisor concerning a personal problem, or work methods and assignments.

  • Informal Discussions The employee's concerns will be presented orally by the employee to the appropriate supervisor. Every effort shall be made by all concerned in an informal manner to develop an understanding of the facts and the issues in order to create a climate which will lead to resolution of the problem. If the employee is not satisfied with the informal discussion(s) relative to the matter in question, he/she may proceed to the formal grievance procedure.

  • Withdrawal Before Bidding 7.1. Registered E-Bidders, who have completed the 10% deposit payment, are entitled to withdraw from the auction at least one (1) working day before the auction date by 5.00 pm.

  • CONSEQUENCES OF POSITIVE TEST RESULTS For post-Accident or reasonable suspicion, a Covered Employee shall be immediately removed from performing his or her job or, in the alternative, may be temporarily reassigned to work that is not safety-sensitive if such work is available.
