Informal Discussions. Before a written grievance is submitted, informal discussions will take place between the aggrieved party, the principal or supervisor and Education Minnesota – OSSEO representative. Through these discussions the parties will attempt to resolve the problem. Subd. 2. Level I: If the grievance is not resolved through informal discussions, the aggrieved party may submit the grievance in writing to the principal or supervisor. A copy of such written grievance must simultaneously be filed with Human Resources. The Director, Human Resources will set a meeting date within five (5) days of receipt of the written grievance. The Director, Human Resources will give a written decision on the grievance to the parties involved within ten (10) days after the meeting. Subd. 3. Level II: In the event the grievance is not resolved in Level I, the decision rendered may be appealed to the superintendent of schools, provided such appeal is made in writing within five (5) days after receipt of the decision in Level I. If a grievance is properly appealed to the superintendent, the superintendent or designee will set a time to meet regarding the grievance within fifteen (15) days after receipt of the appeal. Within ten (10) days after the meeting, the superintendent or designee will issue a decision in writing to the parties involved. Subd. 4. Level III: In the event the grievance is not resolved in Level II, the decision rendered may be appealed to the School Board, provided such appeal is made in writing within five (5) days after receipt of the decision in Level II. If a grievance is properly appealed to the School Board, the School Board will set a time to hear the grievance within twenty (20) days after the receipt of the appeal. Within twenty (20) days after the meeting, the School Board will issue its decision in writing to the parties involved. At the option of the School Board, a committee or representative(s) of the School Board may be designated by the School Board to hear the appeal at this level and report its findings and recommendations to the School Board. The School Board will then render its decision.

Informal Discussions. The employee's concerns will be presented orally by the employee to the appropriate supervisor. Every effort shall be made by all concerned in an informal manner to develop an understanding of the facts and the issues in order to create a climate which will lead to resolution of the problem. If the employee is not satisfied with the informal discussion(s) relative to the matter in question, he/she may proceed to the formal grievance procedure.
Informal Discussions. Except as otherwise provided herein, in the event of any controversy or claim arising out of or relating to this Agreement, or the rights or obligations of the Parties hereunder, or the relationship between the Parties with respect to the Licensed Compound or Licensed Product, the Parties shall first try to settle their differences amicably between themselves. Either Party may initiate such informal dispute resolution by sending written notice of the dispute to the other Party, and within thirty (30) days after such notice appropriate representatives of the Parties shall meet for attempted resolution by good faith negotiations. If such representatives are unable to resolve promptly such disputed matter within the said thirty (30) days, either Party may refer the matter by written notice to the other under Section 14.07 to the Vice President of Merck, or designee, and the Chief Executive Officer of Licensee, or designee, for discussion and resolution. If such individuals or their designees are unable to resolve such dispute within sixty (60) days of such written notice, either Party may initiate arbitration proceedings in accordance with the provisions of this Article XIII.
Informal Discussions. The Grievance Procedure shall in no way prevent the operator from approaching the Director or designee for information and/or discussion about any matter which might otherwise be initiated as a grievance.

Informal Discussions. It is the parties’ intention that serious, good faith attempts shall be made to resolve all disputes arising in connection with this Agreement on an informal basis. Therefore, the parties expect and encourage that before a written grievance is filed there shall be direct discussions between the employee and his/her supervisor. Informal discussions should include all individuals thought by either party as necessary or useful to the resolution of the problem.
Informal Discussions. Both parties encourage the informal resolution of issues before they become grievances, which are semi- legal proceedings which hinge upon facts being developed, with rules of evidence, and strict time lines. The employee’s concerns need to be presented by the employee to the appropriate supervisor. Every effort will be made by all concerned to develop an understanding of the facts and issues in order to create a climate which will lead to resolution of the problem. If the employee is not satisfied with the information discussion(s) relative to the matter in question, they may proceed to the formal grievance procedure.
Informal Discussions. The City and the OPBA recognize the benefit of an exchange of ideas and information. For this reason the Mayor and/or Mayor’s designated representative(s) and the Chief welcome the designated OPBA Representative to meet and informally discuss matters of mutual interest and concern. Permission to meet with the Mayor and/or Mayor’s designated representative and the Chief will not be unreasonably withheld.
