District Chief. level supervisors shall insure that the injured Employee receives the needed medical attention from the City Physician. In instances where the City Physician is not available, when the injury occurs after regular business hours, when the injury occurs on a weekend or holiday, the Employee shall utilize and/or be taken to the City's designated Emergency Room facility. When the injury is considered serious, injured Employees should be referred to or taken to the nearest emergency room of any hospital in the City of Tulsa. In the event an on- shift Employee is transported by supervision to the hospital via ambulance, the entire cost for such transportation will be paid by the Employer. At the earliest opportunity the Employee will report to the City Physician.
