Drug Abuse Program Director. The Deputy Chief of Operations, or his designee temporarily acting in his behalf, is designated as the District’s Drug Abuse Program Director. The Deputy Chief shall have overall responsibility for all pre-employment and employee drug testing activities. It shall be the Deputy Chief of Operations responsibility to direct the course and scope of such employee substance abuse awareness programs as may be in operation. The Deputy Chief of Operations is the position designated as the District Manager who shall be the contact point with the Medical Review Officer regarding his evaluation of any positive test results.
