Common use of Dry Cleaning Clause in Contracts

Dry Cleaning. The County will pay all costs of dry cleaning for uniforms; provided, however, the County reserves the right to establish reasonable rules and regulations on the cleaning procedure. Detectives, including Domestic Violence assignments, shall receive dry cleaning "chits" of seventy-five (75), per quarter, three hundred (300) per year, cumulative from year to year (2 chits are required for one suit). The Uniform Officers shall receive dry cleaning "chits" of seventy-five (75) per quarter, three hundred (300) per year. The Vice Detectives shall receive dry cleaning "chits" of twenty-five (25) per quarter, one hundred (100) per year. If the uniforms are `wash and wear' the employer shall not provide cleaning "chits".
